Does anyone know any more about this and what are peoples' thoughts? I reckon this = around 340000 shares. Should we be worried?
Thanks
Rebs I get where you're coming from but surely you must appreciate that for the directors they, like us, are prone to mistakes. Yes they might have thought that was an ok price to buy at but they might have got it wrong. Secondly the loss momentarily for them will not be horrendous given what I estimate to be their considerable salaries. It may well have been pocket change.
Does anyone else remember seeing on several occasions large buys reported after hours for £200k, £300k and £100k's+? All of those at around the 300 - 350 range. I wonder how comfortable those people/institutions are with their investments and whether they are now their shares as well?
Sharehunter thanks but if memory serves - last month you were saying June would be huge for NCYT. So far it is anything but. The issue i think sadly is alot of people holding for good news are getting increasingly frustrated and are cutting their losses.
Smokie - completely agreed. I like many find myself in the position where I'm stuck waiting to offload my shares in NCYT to recoup some of my losses. Week after week this RNS was hailed as the "big one" that would blow the doors off and send the SP back to YTD highs but there sadly is a reason that this share cant get above 350 - there isn't enough sentiment left to keep it going. It seems mad to think that a cash rich company like this relies on sentiment rather than fact but the evidence is there to show that for the next month all this board will talk about is "the next RNS is going to be massive" "just wait for US news". It wont be and the news will have the same effect as this morning- it will lower the price further.
This isn't a deramp it's a simple statement with the evidence we all know but some choose to ignore. Best of luck all - I hope to be proved wrong.
