Really tough to say. I'm heavily invested here and tend to sit on the sidelines while the arguments take place but I am grateful to a certain few posters RacingCyclist to name one for their insight and analysis of the share. For me its anyones guess. £10 at year end seems fantasy land at the moment and £3 at year end seems ridiculous given what ARB have in store over the next 12 months but current conditions are leaning towards the latter.
I'll throw my hat in the ring and say between £5 and £12 by year end - giving me plenty of room to be right with my amazing 'prediction'. Its lucky guess at the end of the day. The fundamentals are great for the company. I'm here to enjoy the ride.
Not a ramping post here but I'm sat slightly in the red on this and still bought more this morning. Why? Well for me its a simple calculation and assumption.
The calculation: ARB will likely average 200 BTC mined per month from now to year end and seem to be going after a hodl strategy giving them approx 2500 BTC by year end.
The assumption: BTC isn't going anywhere and will likely reach between $75K and $100K by year end.
2500 BTC * $75000 = $187.5M in BTC assets alone. This is a very Conservative view BTW.
Based on where the SP is now, ARB's hodl and the price of BTC there is no reason why the SP won't be in the range of £7-£12 by Dec IMO.
What would people say is a fair price in the short term (next month), medium term (next 6 months) and long term (1 year+) given the results today?
Hi all, completely respect and understand your views. My logic was based on 2 things really - the share price will likely drop to around 190-200 in the next few days (assuming no news). Now when there is news the share price may rise a phenomenal 20% but at those prices it really only takes it up to the 250 mark and as we all know and see day in day out - as soon as there is a reasonable rise, it gets sold into. Meaning the SP would land right back down where it is today.
Secondly the media and governments seem to be pinning their hopes on the Astra Vaccine. Now again that may not be successful but I think governments are in a holding pattern until Astra release the results of the clinical trials at which point 1 of 2 things will happen. A) the vaccine is moderately successful in which case there are no further orders for testing kits. As the attitude will be to get the vaccine and generally take your chances (the latter point being in the public consciousness already). Or B) the vaccine isn't successful, but by this time there are too many players on the market, the share price is approximately down a further 40% from today (because of attitudes stated in point A) and the virus has "largely" run its course. Yes there will be local lockdown etc but it will be something most people learn to live with.
Believe me everyone I am kicking myself for having sold but the above points guided my decision making. They're not perfect but I hope you can see why I did what I did. To anyone in similar shoes to me - I'm not trying to deramp this stock. I sincerely hope you make a boat load of cash, but we can all see what's happening for whatever reasons - so now 'might' be the time to cut your losses.
All the best.
P.S. one of my trades was for 4179 shares around 9:11 this morning. It showed as a buy ok LSE so if anyone can correct me on that point I'd be grateful.
After what feels like an eternity waiting to sell this share for a profit or a lesser loss I took the plunge today and sold. It cost me dearly. £21K to be precise. To anyone who reads this If you're a long term holder i wish you luck and for everyone else I suggest you do some soul searching and if its right for you, sell. And sell quickly. The two trades I made earlier were recorded as buys on this site, but they were definitely sells. Also I simply can't take any more of sharehunter3 saying that an RNS is due and that price is moving up nicely now etc etc. Watching this share is like trying to make a dead cat bounce. It just wont come back to life. Good luck all and see you in another life.
I'm taking this with a pinch of salt as I havent been able to verify it and it seems odd individuals can view the value of government orders....but looks like there's been a nice sized order for the Ukraine. June's orders should be very healthy indeed.

Thanks for the commentary everyone, here's hoping the dial starts to turn up this week and I am proved completely wrong with my despondent posts earlier in the week. Apologies all for the tone they may have struck - the downtrend has been quite severe!
