and click news (rather than 'all') then it returns any news on that date or later. So this particluar search gives just five results.

Hi Gerry, it's the pyschology side of investing gives me lots of headaches!
I can do the maths many times over but the trouble is, whatever decision one makes can pretty much always be bettered with hindsight... I have started doing more planning now. Although I tend to accumulate shares rather than trade them, there are some instances when I have to make a decision and specifically *planning* to swap share X for share Y when ( if ) share prices fluctuate to certain levels ( obviously taking it that fundementals remain the same ). This makes me at least feel like I have some type of control! Previously I would be a little bit too recactive. Even though the unbeatable hindsight still always wins out, it means I've at least thought through my decisions and can't blame it on impulsiveness!

I've just watched this. I did like the bit about the Eastern Breccia - 'Are we dealing with another NW corridor?" . Obviously very early days but interesting that they are thinking this outloud.

I use a small broker called iDealing - to be fair my biggest issues for late payment have both been with a couple of more obscure overseas stocks so it may be down to those rather than the broker ( who have been generally decent and simple to use over my many years with them! ) so maybe I shouldn't have had anything to fear...
EPIC has gone above 75p now - I'm only really keeping an eye out on SP movement as it's a pretty new investment to me. It's meant to be a long term hold...like you I'll probably only add on cheaper prices, or div% increase based on SP.

That's me in for quite a bit more now.
I wanted to look at this one more thoroughly, and having done so I'm fairly comfortable with investing. Agree with Napalm below. Also I put in a small amount last month as I wanted to test the water on the speed of divi payment via my broker (as I sometimes have the odd issue) but this is absolutely fine.
Just a shame ( for me ) I couldn't get in at last month's price!

Surely it's more like you have £1000 in the bank and you're expecting a bill for £800 so you're obviously careful not to spend any more than £200. Then it turns out your bill is actually only going to be £100 so you've got £900 to spend ( £700 more than before).

I completely agree with you by the way. I think the gaps between the news updates are very linear, and in between there are many who are chasing hotter stocks. There is a pattern of the share price falling and then rising again in between these updates.
However we now know there is going to be some key updates in September and some key updates in December. Patience has been mentioned and having read and listened to the latest SD interviews and podcast, I am personally confident that we'll get past this poor (SP) period. I suspect it's going to be a bit of a drag up until a couple of weeks before the September report is due but for me these have always been a long term hold.

I think most understand the dangers of giving out data. But I don't think giving info on % of portfolio really tells anyone that much. Obviously could be 50% of £5,000, or 50% of £500,000 etc etc.
Disclosure of an actual quantity is, however, something I would be slightly more wary of .

I've just looked at mine - wierdly it's almost identical to Bellers' figures ( but 64% )

I'm in the camp of diversified portfolios. Still, when the market goes down it still seems to take all of my stuff with it anyway!

Hi Sojourner, I can't remember where I read/heard it, but I'm sure that somewhere it says that due to some of the infil drilling there may be scope to pad out the resource estimate by a little when the PFS is released ( based on the same area ) - I'm happy to be corrected, basically as I can't remember!!!

Hoping decent results + potential interim divi announcement will push this back up towards 50p. Have a feeling that this wave of covid is so infectious it will burn itself out ( due to sheer number of vaccines or resilience due to previous infections). The start of the end?
