RE: SP pull back this morning15 Oct 2025 10:31
I think the majority of investment in MKA is domestic personally as most US ii won't be able to buy MKA given their restrictions on Mcap size, liquidity requirements & listing market. When compared to US equities (MP, USAR, UUUU etc) UK equivalents underperform so I would not expect them to see a junior listed UK stock as an appealing trade (or investment) when you are guaranteed better performance on the NASDAQ or US listing. Hence the reason for MKAR spin off; to get US investment & hopefully at an institutional level. There's no need to find winners across the pond with so many on your doorstep.
Regards, HNWI's, this is more likely, word on the street thru Cohen brothers will defintely reach several wealthy ears but again you get better equity performance on US markets than you do over here & it's also not all that easy (or possible) to buy Uk listed AIM stocks via many US brokerages, even IBKR UK (one of my brokers) isn't ideal for AIM listed trading but it works.
By no means a deramp because the buying pressure has been phenominal & I don't deny that but I suspect its coming from within the UK / Europe.
