great write up zen , certainly not selling here for the foreseeable. this is a mid cap without the valuation , which is just plain bonkers right now .i only hold this share now and BT ....which is another cut price company .
for SAVE to start paying a continual divi here is the dream ticket for me with the amount i have would certainly supplement my pension pot when i retire 5-10 years. just gotta be patient and not be tempted to sell on the inevitable rise .
i hopefully this will be back in the teens by the end of the year
i remember 3 bagging on parkmead RTO overnight , on no assets
Earnings here are key , a more sensible valuation will happen early days yet . Market cap is the key vs earnings .... in the next 6 months earnings alone add another conservative $90m to the pot. I’m expecting fcf to be much higher.
That’s without the sideshow of the ultra successful Niger , a world class asset in its own right chucked in for free
Shareholder value seems last on the list for many a ceo these days . I can’t see this improving beyond 30p any time soon given the buoyant price of gold , which hum doesn’t seem to benefit from.
Personally i believe value here can be gained when they offer some type dividends or share buybacks . Until then it will be bobbing about in the 20s that’s only if gold price is sustained
topped up around 60k shares to average down , hopefully it will be a wise move in a few weeks.nothing to suggest savp ain't getting paid , surely that would be have to be released as an RNS forthwith. on that basis i have bought these today...
fool and his money eh?
I’m expecting news shortly also to signal in the new name change
meeting starts at 3pm today , so i guess we will know very soon . analyst's are hopeful of a deal , also incorporating USA who could cut production also .
i really thinks its the time to buy here , maybe which an RNS pending after easter holidays ... could be a double boost for SP
probably true but we need clarity in the form of an RNS
my very crude summary
lets say savp have made a $10m free cash flow per month since they took over seven assets , lets say a modest 4 months equating to $40m profit as Net asset-level free cash flow generation of circa.US$130m p.a.
thats 50% of current market cap (£75m)in just 4 months ... seems incredible and massively undervalued .
only question remains are they getting paid or using world bank facility
i am sitting on funds to top up be won't due to lack of clarity
tweets are very positive today operating above usual day to day production rates
only question is now are they getting paid and how much ? why the silence for a long period and forward plans for 2020. not much to ask really AK.
i've pretty much come to the conclusion that management don't give a toss about shareholders and will do it their way regardless . however i do wonder about the larger holders stance here , perhaps a takeout could be looming hence radio silence
We are conscious of the issues COVID-19 poses. To date, our operations remain unaffected and we continue to monitor the situation closely, so we can continue to operate the business while keeping ourselves and our loved ones safe. #SAVP #COVID19 #EmployeeWelfare #WorldHealthDay
really ... with gold at $1600+ oz and over a 25% increase in gold in the last 12 months. if there had not been the uptick in said gold price , HUM would of been on the bones of its ar$e.... very fortunate imo.
yet we see zero improvement in its fundamentals other than opinions on value. management don't really seem to be knocking this out the park even with gold price in fact quite the opposite.
Playboy Is not 5-6 years long enough time frame to create any sort of value ? I personally have met the management at most levels here. Nice guys , however bit naive in some aspects of their management . Albeit some bad luck in first year of production, I just don’t see any value here being created any time soon.
Cora seems a much better bet .... not a holder btw. Good luck all holders stay safe and have a good weekend. Dan & co don’t need any luck as they are laughing all the way to the bank.
