Debt will always be readily available albeit at higher interest rates when scares . but debt is a commodity bought and sold just like anything else .however underwritten debt with serious cash producing assets is a different matter

As a once long term holder of hummingbird meeting up with Dan and Bert several times .bought Cora at the IPO and I quickly realised within a month or so Cora was a better SP growth opportunity but was a few years away from anything substantive
Got a bit of disillusioned with HUM with the only people making money was the director’s and sold out entirely. Which on reflection was the right call .
In my dealings with HUM I found burt a very approachable, genuine , honest , hardworking and a family guy. Bought me a beer or two aswell in Mayfair at stupid so can’t be all that bad.
So when burt left HUM I knew he would be doing his utmost at Cora .
I have kept it on my watch list and throughly researched here , right now I have a lot of money tied up in save which is currently suspended therefore limited on what I can get here but doubled my holding here today .

Wow nice rns , however bad timing for my part I was looking at this last night to take a position today . I held this a few years ago and met Burt several times .
However I thought time was right to re enter , oh well placed an order this morning on the bell and managed to grab a few at 10.95 .

exxon will want to get this off the books come what may , as there can't be many suitable suitors for these assets . small oilers have been rejected by governments at every turn throughout africa for majors assets.
this could play straight into SAVEs hands regards the price ,added to the fact that save don't want to go high ball price tag with petronas also looking to depart also. sort of gives AK the upper hand , as these two look for the exit . in which i also think save will buy out petronas further down the line , seems obvious to me if they operate there successfully for 18-24 months or so
IMO anything below $300m would be a bargain however i suspect $300-350m ....
i don't think the price tag will be the main driver of the SP ,its how AK intends to pay for it ?

Greed inspired lol , what is investing if not to earn a few Bob , it’s otherwise pointless . Not sure it comes down to greed either , it’s about making my family secure through some ground work now .
also not sure anyone has mentioned any relisting prices , in fact quite the opposite .

built a position here of 375k shares as of suspension , wanted another 125k but slow progress upto the results simply put me off . held these since late 2016 because it was a relatively an easy hold with niger , however the game changed and the markets turned against the average PI and save
i consolidated my positions into one stock SAVE , risky i know but it felt safe with the management and assets . but that buying was done in and around 7-8p , hopefully a master stroke .
so all the conjecture regards what SP it will relist at .if i'm honest i don't really care too much , if its lower great i will add more safe in the knowledge that will be a much larger cash generating business. if its higher i will watch it pan out , sitting on hefty profits

Certainly this is why they have been increasing their staff and not bad partners either in Petronas and total . Perhaps these guys will also look to depart Chad Cameroon also
