I'm not familiar enough on the project to say whether I think it will/won't get to production, but goes to show that EIA/ESG credentials can be a show-stopper.

With that said, our EIA/ESG credentials are looking positive and I can't find any evidence of significant local protest about Cinvoec.

Careful - Last time we got all excited for VWs "battery day" we were all left sorely disappointed.

Expect no news in relation to EMH, and you won't be disappointed.

As an EMH investor, it's been slow news day for the last 12months+...

I thought the same - Would be insider trading to trade stock based on non-public information such as an offtake, M&A, buyout etc.

To me, this is good news in the long run as it shows confidence in the company. Short term, however, this suggests nothing juicy for some time. There's always next year...

Maybe a little optimistic, but perhaps the reason nothing has been announced is because releasing positive news in this market right now would just be out-sold and would have a lesser impact on the SP as opposed to what would happen if it was released on greener days.

Maybe save the really good news for better days, but heavens forbid we get some operational updates out in the meantime.

With my other holdings, a discount like this I would consider a buying opportunity. However, EMH have done little to convince me that I should throw in more money.

With the pace of updates from EMH being as it is, the recovery back to the 52wk average will take months, maybe not until 2023. That Tesla/Elon rumour better bear some fruit as the Cult of Elon is, unfortunately, the quickest way out of this rut.

I hope people aren't getting too hung up on whether or not VW/Skoda build this factory in Czech Rep - Might be an easy sell, but there is far from a shortage of potential customers in just the neighbouring countries alone.

I'm a little curious why this announcement is < 24hrs away from it actually happening. Is it not typical for companies to announce their ambitions for additional listings ahead of their application being approved? Applications of which, as far as I know, can take months! The latest US listing we made was announced quite a bit before it being complete so this is certainly a change of approach. Perhaps some additional news is soon to follow? Unclear what that could be where this listing makes a difference...

It's too early to say for sure, but wondering what the benefit of this listing is and I question the extent of this "heightened US investor interest". Not issuing additional shares suggests not eager for cash.

Devil's advocate: In this context, he's agreeing to the point about OEMs paying through the teeth if they don't M&A with miners, rather than the point about combining resources.

Typically, signing of any corporate contract has to go through legal/compliance - The larger points of whatever was signed were likely verbally agreed to before the trip, but if these face-to-face discussions resulted in any amendments then it'll need to cycle back through legal again (speaking from experience so may not apply here).

Nothing's ever straight forward with corporate beauacracy unfortunately!

Interesting thoughts, Ant - a few things there I certainly didn't consider. The point about VW not wanting to sit back and let Tesla gobble up more market share is good one.

Frustrating hold indeed - The silence is deafening. Does make me wonder whether something big is afoot. Time will tell whether that something is good or bad.

While second to Tesla, they're way behind in terms of EV market share and look like a tired dog moving at a glacial pace in comparison.

Tesla's following, especially the cult-like investment following they have, is considerable and if he so much as tweets about collaboration with another org it almost is always followed by a sizable increase in SP for the subject. As a silly example, the difference between Elon Tweeting "I love EMH" vs. Diess doing the same would be significant. His influence is undeniable and shouldn't be underestimated.

Morally, I would prefer VW to Tesla but, frankly, I'd like to see some long overdue movement in SP and a Tesla collab will provide that in the truckloads.

Whilst this did end up being false, did you see what that short-lived rumour did to the $LTUM share price? Up 250%. On a rumour.

One can dream that Tesla take interest in EMH - VW would have nowhere near this impact.
