I was just reading the same speech and thought the below quotes were interesting:

"[...] if all 11 potentially viable lithium projects in the EU become operational, they could produce some 38% of the expected lithium demand by 2030." With the size of our deposit, and likelihood of all 11 projects going into production, it's hard to understate how much of a key player Cinovec would be in the solution to the problem of domestic EU supply of lithium IF the green-light is given.

"These projects, often developed in former coal mining regions would also help us deliver on the social agenda by creating green growth and clean long-term jobs." This description fits Cinovec very well.

"We should recognise and increase the visibility of these deposits by creating a concept of the Strategic European Projects (SEPs), laying down a new set of rules to govern and accelerate their development in line with the environmental acquis and standards for public consultation." Two of EMH/Cinovec's weak points: Speed and publicity.

DFS end of year would be a lovely Christmas present - Long overdue but would make 2023 a lot more exciting and positive (permitting the results suggest so!)

Final investment decision

I believe the deposit is a winner, less so EMH.

If it was any other junior miner running the show, I probably would have bought them too.

Not a fun experience scrolling through all the updates from other junior miners to get to our measly single bullet point...

Given the lack of news, mention or just general publicity, I'd be surprised if Keith's immediate family have heard of Cinovec...

Offtakes are great for some instant SP action, but you're really not going to have an issue selling what would be one of the hottest commodities in the most desperate continents this decade.

I'd like to see funding by way of soft loans or grants from the EU or more institutional investment, but there's certainly room for both.

I wouldn't have the words if we've waited this long for an offtake and it's an MoU, but I'll apologise in advance for my colourful language if it comes to be true...

There was an interview, I think last year, where KC said they were getting cold calls from Lith buyers regularly (maybe daily) so make of that what you will.

Still a mystery as to why EMH have done this, but maybe we can have a guess from one (or more) of the above reasons.

What value is there in appointing a joint/additional broker? Not trying to be dismissive, just curious on why a company would do it.

I wouldn't call an article about CEZ's/Czech government's ambitions of a gigafactory irrelevant no, but I wouldn't call these 12 month old articles quoting poorly aged timelines "news" or "current" neither.

The reality is that there is so little news flow about the project for the last year or so that any whiff or mention of EMH anywhere has been scrutinised to the letter and frankly there's just nothing to talk about other than the wider lithium market.

Pardon my candour I'm just a frustrated EMH investor like imagine a fair few of us are.

Wonder if any of our institutional investors are feeling a little bit of buyers remorse? I know I'm starting to with just my minor holding, let alone the millions they've pumped in

VW and Geomet would be excellent business partners as they both seem to work by the same clock - No urgency whatsoever

This update is quite literally the bare minimum they could put out for an operational update.

There's nothing material here - More or less says the same thing that's been said for the last 6months+...

"Continue financing/offtake discussions"... Yawn.

"We've still got no idea on timelines"... Frustrating.

"Lithium market outlook is positive"... We know.

Hell if I know what the differences between last quarters update and this update are.

They're the reason for the drop in share price, Ant.

It's got nothing to do with fears of recession, inflation, overall market condition, war in eastern europe or total lack of communication/updates from the company in question!

That quote was from a conference back all the way back in May of this year.

If at least one of us posts every day saying something will happen imminently, eventually one of us will be able to say "told you so"

Curious as to the eagerness of some people to sell our % of the project off... Only reason I see to sell is to either get a smaller return on investment now and/or lack of faith in leadership (I agree comms have been horrendous)

Yes, apparently we have a protective shareholders agreement, but I thought that only protects us from a CEZ buyout rather than a third-party? If true, we need to be careful what we wish for as we're looking like we're on closing-down sale right now to the likes on Ganfeng and I don't think we'd be too happy with the price.

Hope I'm wrong!

Begs the question: Why fork out for the development costs of this if you're going to sell off your project %? Website has had a revamped cataloguing format which looks well suited to host, dare I say, additional projects... Just an observation
