It would take better mathematics than I have command of to calculate the potential volume of a 3 dimensional curved structure but - if what we have in SGB2 is a 75m down dip step out - of a structure/fault/space - being 3000m from MOU4, then over 6000m width x however wide x however deep x(Pi in there somewhere) = a mind boggling amount.

A substantial down dip step out may well enjoy a higher pressure than the up dip and being above the fluids, could well produce at a higher rate.

Must do some paid work for a while . . .

And . . .

SGB2 being above the lowest 'down dip' will avoid the fluids which naturally collect at the bottom of a structure.

The minimal research on the points you raise clarifies a lot of the RNS information and tells a much clearer story.

eg. Barite increases slurry density to help restrain HIGH PRESSURES by improving mud displacement.

Whilst I cannot pretend to understand the how or why recent RNS's were constructed & issued and wholly share in the frustration they have caused, I do understand what is in the ground in Morocco, I do understand what is going into the ground in T&T and I do understand the incredible potential in Ireland.
This whole PR circus has depressed the SP massively and I for one am happy to take advantage in increasing my holding, way beyond where I ever thought I could.
I absolutely believe the next RNS will 'blow the doors off' - In a very good way!

Certainly the latter - but I believe the former!

I’ve seen the timeline for the consultation and I absolutely understand the huge implications of the outcome. The Green Party rightly want to eliminate carbon production in a quest to fuel their country, as they should. However. Today, the wind/solar infrastructure is substantively inadequate to cope with immediate (let alone near future) energy requirements for Ireland and its investors. If you are staring down the barrel of a dirty oil/coal based solution, why not consider an option that puts at least as much carbon back into the earth as it takes out (potentially more = carbon negative) as a stepping stone to a cleaner future. In the meantime, energy bills can reduce for all citizens and security of supply can be guaranteed for industry. I’m not being clever ‘it is’ CCS can solve all of Ireland’s energy issues right now as well as providing substantial income through ‘clean’ gas exports which in turn, can fund the furtherance of the ‘clean energy’ philosophy.

I know how simplistic this statement is, but I needed to write it down and read it to convince myself.

Company's Egyptian drilling activities are expected to commence in June with the first of four development wells in West Gharib and the start of our very exciting two well campaign in South Disouq where the second well, the Hanut-1X exploration well planned for mid-Q3, will be targeting gross unrisked mean recoverable volumes of 139bcf with a 33% chance of success.

So if the 2nd & 3rd well commence in June and the first one is finished next week - there is a window. Reading the latest posts I’m not sure how practical the time frame is but it’s a possibility. Hopefully will will know in the next 48hrs with an ops update.

From re reading the SDX RNS I think we might have a 25+ day window before their 2nd drill.

There does appear to be a gap between completion of the first well spud 30th April and the commencement of the remaining four wells 'expected' to commence in June. Can we get shoe horned into that space??????

This is 'massively' a better bet now that 12 months ago based on return v potential - look at the numbers and compare to close relatives . . . LOOK AT THE POTENTIAL VALUE VERSES CURRENT SP.
