Avacta mentioned a 2 month pause between 1a and 1b

1b is the kicker to find out efficacy

They aren't going to announce 1b results immediately

Unless Avacta start being realistic about time lines this will carry on

I expect 1b to start anytime between October 23 and march 24.

The issue is this latest date projection was already on top of 1a being 12 months or so late

For institutional investors to get properly involved I suspect they would want to know how Al plans to fund ava6000 and ava3396. He has said he plans to keep them in house. That is going to cost a lot of money.

It's mid year still on cohort 5 and expectation this 1a could continue to cohort 6 and 7 now. Then a 2 month pause before 1b.

What exactly are investors expecting from the business update? Avacta have nothing new to report is my opinion. The way things are looking they cannot find MTD, which is fantastic long term but looks to be extending ~12-18 months on phase 1a.

project costs money so the share price doesn't like it short term.
