I think its a valid question and has stimulated some really great debate

mtd is crucial to the newr term share price of avacta

There is nothing wrong with wanting the share price to be higher

I care where the SP is in 2 months!!. It makes a massive difference when it comes to financing.

If Avacta want to go it alone, whixh they've stated they are going to need to raise funds. Bonds are not an option with their limited revenue

So they will need to create more shares..

I'd prefer a higher SP and less dilution

You would expect Avacta to re finance once they are well into phase 1b and have released some snippets about efficacy. Creating a much higher sp to dilute the issue of shares from.

Although I am not convinced Avacta have a cash runway to get well into 1b

But Alan's tone and expression over lunch doesn't really cut it compared to an RNS. He dismissed the subject during the live broadcast. That's not good enough.

Then why did he put it in an RNS if he wasn't prepared to elaborate on it?

I did feel disappointed by the response to the question about disease has not progressed for a number of patients on the trial. Alan was pretty dismissive and almost avoided answering. Saying you can't read much into it at the moment.

If he is prepar d to rns it I don't feel it should be played down so much on camera.

Elitiot forster mentioned they are not boosters (ie ramping it up) but I still feel Alan could have elaborated on how the disease has not progressed. Otherwise why rns it

Just watched the presentation again.

Very impressed with how the project is going.

As for timescales I am not expecting any efficacy news for AVA6000 til circa 18-24 months..

And efficacy is what will kick this on.

Between now and then Avacta are going to need funds therefore I don't see the shareprice appreciating much until efficacy is prove unless there is a curveball like takeover / early stage partner.

A lower share price means substantial dilution for existing shareholders when avacta need to raise funds. And a LOT of funds are needed. Therefore if Alan's plan to keep in house is followed the market cap of avacta may keep rising but existing shareholders will suffer.

I don't like Alan's lassaiz faire attitude to time lines.
