I disagree wolves. Haven't originally invested in Avacta on the back of the covid tests it seems to me the cancer side of the business is doing very well. Just look at the amount of partnerships they are making.

The way I see it any covid tests Avacta sell are just a bonus.

The AVA600 work on q1 is huge for the group.

Regarding the cancer treatments that seems to be much more in the control of Avacta. Approval of first trial obviously pending government. Mainly thanks to Neil Bell running the project.

I do get the impression. The covid tests aren't avactas top priority and they see this cancer treatment as huge.

From the rns phase 1 is done on a minimal amoun t of patients. So if you do get dosed early q2 initial results of the trial could be out in the summer. Could be worth billions long term!

It appears that using the UK government is the only way for avacta to get there test, if indeed it fully exists yet validated. Hence avacta are at the mercy of DSHC and to BBI.

Gkb, I wouldn't say time is running out and still think avacta can generate revenue from these tests but it's hugely frustrating how long this is taking. Whether it's been third party delays or not they haven't set the scene very well.

The fact of the matter is AS went on the record and said transformational news was due in Q4. So far have been told the company have changed direction and gone for a swab test after months of waiting for the saliva lft. There remain about how long it will take to monitise this. He gave a vague rns that confused most investors over timescales.

What still frustrates me is as part of the filler rns on a couple of occasions he mentions the company is on track to submit the ava 6000 filing.

It's dragging on now and magnified by the missed targets set by AS.

As yet there is still no evidence or regulatory news that Avacta have lft that can be sold!
