Happy New Year to you all. Firstly I would like to comment on something mentioned earlier regarding how incredible it is that this company and BB has bot flies when you see what we have. Personally it does not surprise me one bit.
I get the impression that the CEO of Anglo and the numerous bots we have all feel a little like D ick Rowe did after saying The Beatles were not worth looking at! Unfortunately he and the bots have to sit and rationalise the decision they have made not to invest in something which is DEFINITELY a no brainer.

Earlier somebody alluded to the possibility of this going well into the new year before being concluded and if it goes beyond April into new tax year guess where my ISA contribution will be going. The Data doesn't lie. The only thing I would say could be a negative in this scenario is the possible continuation of the strengthening of the pound against the US Dollar.
Although I do firmly believe this will be countered by the size of the deal so all is balanced and good in my eyes.

Tilly, you and JT have been absolute stars. Keeping up our spirits and keeping us all well informed with the figures. Along with many others on this board you helped me through the suspension and my furlough period and I can only say a very heartfelt thank you.

I'm herring what you're saying but think it's time to put it to bed now.

Good morning all, I was shocked and a little saddened to see the vitriol on board last night. As it happens Mac is a great poster and supporter of this share. As far as I can see the posting of the same things over and over again assists the newbies to glean some positive info on the company and it's assets.

Unfortunately there will always be posters with their own agendas and we will never be able to change that. May I make a small suggestion? Rather than giving oxygen to these people who come on here spout forth negativity with no supporting evidence just ask yourself one question before replying to them. " How is this serving me? ".

It may seem like a strange thing to do and you may find it difficult to answer this to start with but here are a few examples of the numerous ways I could think of this serving me.
1 They NEVER bash a bad stock
2 Their lack of supporting evidence underlines my belief in my own research
3 The fact they immediately become defensive confirms my suspicions
4 The envy they display of the camararderie between many BB users on here confirms my suspicions
5 I feel calm and happy with my investment and a steely determination to hold to the end if only to prove them wrong.

Etc. etc. We've all heard the phrase " Do not rise to it " and the whole point of not doing is to remain centred and not allow the bots and their masters to waver our belief or that of any new investors. I was saddened last night as only a few days ago this BB was full of talk of meeting up and celebrating EUA and how it will change our lives and that of our loved ones.
Try not to lose sight of this please guys and lets look forward to Rums all round.

I would definitely be up for a party in York. It would be a fitting end to and incredible journey and a fantastic way to applaud the efforts of notable members of the board to keep us all on an even keel ( pun intended ). I honestly do not believe I would be where I am today with my holding if I had not had the guidance and been able to read the supportive messages some have posted particularly during the suspension.

Speaking of CGT news. Did anybody see the report regarding Rishi Sunak's wife and how much she is worth? I wonder if she is quietly crapping herself re CGT?

I am all for balanced, reasonable discussion. I have to catch myself sometimes and remind myself not to become infatuated with EUA. For this reason I welcome anybody who has a different viewpoint from my own in order to stop me from becoming polarised. I have been following this BB for just over a year and a month after I started reading the posts and doing my own DD and research I piled in with some Wonga and bought shares. I have topped up several times since and now hold more shares than I have ever had in any other company by quite a long way.

To date I have not seen ONE POST knocking this share that has had ANY evidence or well researched fact based information that has made me doubt my decision to invest and stay invested to the end.

Tilly, Ian_, JT, and many others have all given us lots to be grateful for on this BB especially during the dark days of suspension. Having a go at them for fun is not big and it is not clever. Before you accuse me of putting any of the aforementioned on a pedestal it is not what I do. I have been taught that nobody deserves to be on a pedestal as much as nobody deserves to be in the pit.

However Roaster, for you I make an exception.

I trade Forex and look for red news every day on Forexfactory. Any currency that is going to be affected is documented with a time of day that the news is to be released and also the nature of the news. The banks and trading desks pay to get the news 2 minutes before the retailer traders get it and have time to analyse their trading direction just before us mere mortals.

Surely if this happens in Forex it also happens in stocks and shares. An RNS will have to be released through certain channels and due process. I am sure the mm's will pay to receive the news a couple of minutes prior but no more than that. A good institution will not need much more than that in order to get the drop on the rest of us. As has been said before where money is concerned the big boys will always be looking for an edge.

I do not believe anybody will be daft enough to jeopardise the deal by releasing news prior to the RNS release process being implemented.

Correct me if I am wrong but I seem to remember ( I think it was Rowka but may have been someone else ) had seen some news where I think it was new drilling data produced which had caused a great deal of excitement at AP. Then suddenly NOTHING. They were evidently told to shut up due to the NDA's and I think the group of interested parties did not want a deluge of new interested parties.

To me the possibility of significant amounts of Rhodium in the ground is the game changer here. As for Dimitry tipping us the wink he has already done this.

This has been my suspicion for a while and the reason why I have been saying the longer this goes on the more excited I am getting. I am confident that when this comes to fruition it is going to be a Moby Dick sized kipper.

Guys, I have said it before and I will say it again. The longer this goes on the more excited I get. Look at it this way.

Dmitry has been on this journey for 25 years!!!!! Just think of that 25 years sitting on his investment knowing one day Palladium would become far more valuable and then it would be time to cash in and reward himself and fellow BOD and shareholders for their support and patience.

If a man can sit for 25 years and nurse his investment what does that tell you?
1 He truly knows the value of what he holds
2 He is fully committed to getting every last penny of that value from a sale
3 He is patient enough and diligent enough to make sure there are NO mistakes made during the FSP
4 We are ALL going to benefit big time when this comes to fruition.

Ian, my original guess for the RNS was the day closest to Bill Wyman's birthday of the 23rd October ( Bill's 24th ). Can I have another guess please and go for the 18th of December ( Keith Richards birthday )
