As would most people, I would suspect that when the 'send payment' button was pushed on Friday 13th by Vast an email would have been sent to Atlas to tell them that the payment had been made, it is standard procedure to inform the recipient of a large payment, so I can only imagine that 'someone' at Atlas thought to themselves that if they were quick they would squeeze another one through the system!
It will get sorted, and there is not a thing anyone here can do about it, so Relax peeps, buy, hold, add....whatever, you have to make your own minds up. :)
I didn't expect quite such a savage drop today, but being one to never knowingly miss such a gift I took the opportunity to add another million (and a bit) to my holding, bringing it up to 2.9 million in total at an average of less than 0.8. So, I am really looking forward to this moving considerably higher in the near future.
Good luck to all genuine LTH's, it's going to get interesting!
Could have been caused by a direct bank to bank transfer of funds, which normally would have a 2 hour gap between sending and being received by the other bank. Plenty of time to sneak another request in..... :)
You also have to take into account all of the LTH's who, like me, sit on their holdings, add regularly to build their position, but do not take part in the daily BB nonsense :)
Good to see movement, just imagine when news does break!!!
As always, log and strong, good luck and keep holding (and adding, if you have the ability)
Muscles,
I couldn't help but notice that every post you write - on multiple co's - are all disparaging or just downright negative, and a lot of your comments are borderline rude/abusive......so tell me, is it your job to rubbish every company in the market along with everyone who invests in anything, or is it just that you are a really miserable git and can't help yourself?
:)
Certainly :)
ok Ian, apologies, your was the first post I saw when I opened the posts page and I didn't have time to read previous, or catch up. Late night and jumped on you without further reading as your post (obviously) stood out. I guess that means that you succeeded in making it so daft that it got the response.
Ooooops :(
You've been here for years through hell and back..... but you can't hang on for a few days/weeks?
Why does that sound even more ridiculous when you see it in print for the second time?
Well you'd better go then, ha ha ha ha, your investment expertise will be sorely missed!
And, just to be clear....my previous post was NOT an inference that I think DM might fail, I am a LTH with a what might be called a considerable holding, I am already in profit at these levels and have no intention of parting with a single share until this succeeds.
While I am not convinced that DM will go the JV route, I am a believer that 25% of a huge success is worth considerably more than 100% of a mediocre campaign and potential failure :)
Whatever decision he makes, that consideration might be a factor in his thinking.....
There are people here who should definitely not be investing in the stock market. If you're that scared steve you should ask your mummy to look after your pocket money for you, and not risk it.
Get a grip and stop whining ffs :)
In the last hour I have managed to more than double my (not inconsiderable) holding at prices between 8 and 8.5p, prices that I never expected to see again, and having missed the initial opportunity to buy early at these prices it was simply too tempting.
Major returns in an investment like this one comes to those who recognise the potential, buy early, and accumulate substantial numbers of shares when the opportunity arises to get them cheaply, and are then prepared to be patient and follow a small company as they negotiate the exploration phase, progress through drilling/testing and then (as HE1 surely will) announce the discovery. So I am bemused as to why so many clearly do not understand these basics and even more clearly demonstrate that they do not have the patience required to maximise their returns in this way.
Methinks some of you people should not be ‘investing’ in AIM stocks :(
In several previous investments I have found that at some point, pre-discovery or confirmation of resources, something will happen to slow progress and the price will drop. It can be caused by one of many reasons, as we have just seen, a broken drill, a collapsing drill-hole and an inability to test the pay layers, and obviously MM’s diving for stop-losses. What I have learnt over many years investing on AIM is that S**t will happen at some time, and you need to be prepared for it as well as also being prepared to accept that it is all just part of the process. If you have faith/belief in your original reason for investing then just accept the hiccup and if possible take advantage of it, before you move on.
A couple of weeks ago I raised my average from mid 13’s to mid 16’s for these shares by topping up, and yesterday I similarly helped myself to quite a few more and in the process reduced my average again to the mid 14’s :) which I didn’t expect to be able to, but hey…..woohoo! We now move on!
SpeculativePunt, agreed, and they seem to have managed to manipulate the sp unashamedly over the past two days to make sure it starts and finishes the day at 26.5 - that cannot be easy :)
Good man (you know it makes sense), as for today, I suspect a few late reports of large trades might be on the cards soon!
Indeed, the suspension allows for an orderly re-rate before trading begins again. It works quite well!
However, I think you might be accused of a bit of a deramp calling for 85p....think bigger, somewhere around the 140-160 range :)))
Bigbench, that would be a good start to the day!
Is it also a possibility that the RNS might be considered to be such a jolt to the market that DM might issue a suspension RNS first thing one day, and then follow up later in the morning with the blockbuster we all hope for?
Just a minor correction Chickadee......as we are not ALL men on this bb :)
It is always good to see the excitement and enthusiasm for what is expected to be a major result, but a lot of you (like me) have been investing on the AIM market for a long time.....
So, just a suggestion but let's temper the excitement a little until the rns is issued, which confirms what we are hoping for, shall we :)
Very sad, it sounds like a scorned teenage girl now! :(
