Not sure how one values a share like this at this point in time. WHat price should it be, assuming we have Tungsten steadying around this price for a while?
There are not that many shares out there that can cause as much grief as these. On the face of it, things seem ok..but if they cant hold a value in such an environmrnt, what hope can be had? It seems that trust is scarce
Do you own some?? Or are you here for our benefit?
I know this is a crap share but still...is it this bad?
Your probably right but I have a certain respect for there not comment ing. If they encourage more people to jump in and things head south as global events catch up with them, we would accuse them of being dishonest.
A reasonable assessment. Looks like a falling knife now though. Volumes are low . It's hard to call...the speed of the fall looks bad. Tungsten prices may rise in a year but I'm wondering are we hedged against oil prices rising. If one believe s the press, plenty of tungsten producers are up at the creek now but maybe now s the time for a gamble
Well I still have a small holding and like I said, I may get back in yet.... Still interested
The question for now is...are we going ahead at these metal prices? Im not expert to know at what price this can be a profitable operation. Assuming we dont, I imagine they can mothball it for a little while longer. Surely it cant be that expensive to keep the company just ticking a long
Well my average share price is just over 2.2 so while I have taken a big hit, its not like there is no point getting out before things get worse. I would consider buying in again maybe sub 0.8, assuming it doesn't get there too quick.
I have too many of these and too many oil stocks. I can't see tungsten coming back soon. China is really a massive headache waiting to happen and on top of that I expect sterling to depreciate a little. I wouldn't put anyone gambling with a small punt now at these prices but that aside, is there really any reason to be optimistic 😭...??
I actually wrote to Mr Drenthen a few weeks back. Everything was hunky dory...looked like they would be reporting a profit in the second half. Pretty much the opposite to what happend. :)
Well you could sell up now!! I have been losing money steadily for months and this at a time when all the major indices have been making highs. Not surprising to see my portfolio taking a real hiding now but thats just the way it is. The problems in Russia and the general unease has a lot of collateral damage.
Well, no in truth that was some time ago but nothing is happening now. What are we waiting on next and when is it likely to arrive?? Im not terribly resentful though (unlike ACHL) cause this is a mining company and thats the way these things can go.
Wasnt there one due soon or did i imagine that??
I already have. No change from earlier statement. Delays in first half of year, no real problems, profit will be expected in the second half. Thats according to managment.
It seems noses are being turned up. All this talk of concentrating on markets abroad etc. Not bothered about the profit warning but its the other language in that press release. ie, things are going to be crap for the foreseeable future that should have lots of people heading for the hills. All shares are a gamble, but with ones like these, the odds are against you big time. However thats why the payout should it come will be considerable for those who can stick with it. As for this nonsense of a take overs...get real!!
On the surface it does look straight forward, an available product which the market wants. The price of the share is telling us something else though but then there is no accounting for the effect of fear. BTW, Anybody ever drop these guys an email and get a reply?? Getting close to my stop loss now, you could be getting my shares pretty cheaply granto.
Well clearly no news imminent. Anybody got anything optimistic to say. I have actually had some shares in some fairly risky things in my short trading career. This one takes the biscuit for tension though!! Good time for anyone with real belief to get in although it might be best to wait to see if we can get a bit lower.
Oh don't get me wrong. I know nothing about this share apart from anybody else. Im also not a long term ormer, i posses shares purchased at slightly more than the current price and a second trache at a lower amount which I have had for roughly a year. Im probably up a bit but not much. I am not a deramper. I don't generally post, cause to be blunt, ive got nothing interesting to add. Being a skeptic has served me well enough though and i'm just asking some questions. Frankly, i'm just a little worried....but then im a worrier by nature.
Listen, I worked in Spain for years. Bureaucracy was slower but modern Spain is no backwater and was not frustrating. Im just wondering if there is a deeper underlying issue we don't know about. Surely its time for some suspicion? Also what is the purpose of allowing a submission from the previous mine operators?? I am a relatively small investor in this.
