My investment in Impact is with Barclays Stockbrokers Smart Investor and Barclays did not contact me to enable me to take up the offer (which they have always done on corporate actions). I asked them about this and they said it was up to me to contact Impact direct which seems a nonsense as Impact presumably don't have and shares in my individual name so I wouldn't have been able to do it. Barclays are insistent that it wasn't up to them and that they aren't in the wrong. Has anyone else any experience with this one please?

I am wondering whether to take up the offer or not. f you view the investment as being as safe as a savings or deposit account it's a good rate of 'interest' but, as always, there is an element of risk

Share price a bit like a yo-yo lately - big rise, big fall! Any one know of a particular reason?

I've just done the same thing and come up with a net'Nil' result! Is the hope that the price per share will go up as there will be less shares?

I'm feeling a bit thick. I have a modest number of Aviva shares (600) so at the end of the month I will get just over £600 cash but will have a lesser number of shares worth £600 less. Is this correct? If so, what have I gained?

Although the price has wobbled a bit there is still a safe(ish!) yield of c. 6% and as the price is now not much above NAV I think there is scope for a worthwhile rise soon

As an update to my post of 30 May. Taking account of the SBTX valuation of £103 million Opti's value after removing the
23.1% share seems to have shrunk again to around £17 million!

If Opti is valued at say £45m including Skin and 23.1% of Skin is worth say £24m that seems to imply that Opti is valued at around £21m. Surely that makes Opti a strong buy or am I working something out incorrectly?

I don't post very often and certainly don't profess to be an expert on share dealing and have had my fingers burnt several times!
However, my uneducated opinion on Opti is that if I read the figures right Opti at the moment has a MV of around £46m and after deducting say £16 for the 24% share in Skinbio that leaves a net value of around £30m for Opti. Surely that is a Strong Buy on those figures?

I have, along with many others, had my fingers burned very badly both in pension funds and investments over the recent past so I haven't bought any shares for some time. However I have today had a modest punt in OptiBiotix as the signals seem good. I need a bit of good fortune to cheer me up!

Why is there such a large bid/ask spread on this share? It shows at 8.47% (at present price sell at 59p, buy at 64p.

A bit confused at the drop in the share price following the recent results as they seemed ok to me. If the forecasts are anywhere near the 2017 PE will be below 7 and the yield over 6%!

I was pleased to see the last post which says something positive about the Company! I have been starting to think that no news is bad news. Would it maybe have been better if we had just paid up to British Sugar and not started the fight? t seems that it has all gone wrong since the ex British Sugar man was appointed!

Could the timimg of this dispute be connected in any way with the recent appointment of the ex British Sugar MD as Chief Operating Officer of Real Good Food?

Should anything be read into Omnicane now having more than 25% of the shares?

I wish I hadn't said 'in the absence of any bad news' in my last post! I still feel the company has a good future but I think the next results update will have to be good to restore confidence.

In the absence of any bad news I can only see a steady increase in the share price. Increased earnings and a P/E of say 10 and maybe commencement of dividends and it can't go wrong........

My first post! I have recently put modest amounts in four shares, three of which have fallen but Real Good Food have made more profit than the losses on the other three. Up by about 40%! My feeling is that share still has some way to go. What do you think?
