Taking a break from this forum for a couple of weeks. I'm sick of the constant baiting/moaning about the miserable deal CNR got from MTL by two particular posters (they know who they are). It's not our fault that our directors got a good deal for us, but still they want to ram it down our throats. I'll be back in a few weeks once the forum reverts to the polite discourse that we had before the acquisition. Good luck all...

Adam - Candy and Drachs are not the kind of people that would sell this for anything other than a full price. They will have an exit plan and I'm guessing that will be sometime after the planned LSE listing in 2028

Lee - I beg to differ, we do need new investors. Not to raise capital but to increase the SP with a bigger pool of investors. We want institutional interest including fund managers and investment banks. We also want tier one operators to be aware of us, they are the ones who may wish to buy us out at some point in the future. We are not on the radar of these groups right now, so promoting the company at events like this is the right thing to do.

Broom - If they have an agreement to buy the second hand processing plant then that would be worthy of an RNS too. I think we will get plenty of news in the coming weeks, just have to remain patient. I'm not too worried about the price today, I'm more interested in the price in two years.

Yes Broom, clearly some active sellers still out there. Our stock does have a pattern though, it rises on news then slowly drifts back, I have become used to it.

We have been flying under the radar for long enough, activities that raise awareness to potential investors are welcome.

If we can just find resources at Dupax to extend Runruno LoM by maybe 5 years we will be laughing. If that happens then in two years we could be producing 200k oz a year whilst proving up Abra. Since the announcement I have thought that the Condor deal would be a company maker for MTL.

I agree Andy, however there are only two or three negative posters. The majority of ex CNR who came across seem to be pretty good folks. So it's easy enough to ignore the dross.

This ongoing MTL/CNR soap opera is more entertaining than Dallas (sorry showing my age) :)

@AB, I'm not wishing to create animosity with anyone, I just wish some would let the past go, or at least direct there displeasure to those who deserve it (prior directors of CNR). I'm looking forwards to a rosy future, partly due to the excellent resources at La India, that fill the resource gap between Runruno (notwithstanding Dupax) and Abra, which will be brought into production on time and on budget - Good luck to you!

All new ex CNR investors are welcome, but don't expect long term MTL holders to share in the misery. The company has done well for us (after a shaky start) and most expect the company to continue to do well.

@Surrey too bad you made a bad investment that has left you wallowing in your own sorrow, you would be better off out of this and leave the company to those who believe in it.

@broom I do agree with "massive confirmed resources" but I always remember that the market can remain irrational longer than we can remain solvent!

@broom that's correct it has done zilch for the SP, but until the new asset is producing why would it add to the price? For the next 18 months La India is going to be a liability sucking up all of our free cash. Only when the market see's those new assets are going to contribute to profits will they give us credit for them. The market usually looks no more than 6 months ahead so don't expect a huge uplift in price for a while.

I'm always upbeat about MTL's potential because I have seen the company deliver over the past 3 years and I have benefitted from the increased SP therefrom. It will deliver too on the CNR project, it just needs time to do it.

@gm Dupax is another tenement we own about 20k from Runruno. Darren stated in one of his recent presentations that they see good grades there but needs more drilling to confirm. He also said he isa hopeful that Dupax will increase Runruno LOM processing by anything between 2 to 10 years. Good new on the horizon once drilling is complete!

Also, our market cap has gone up from ~ £100M to ~ £150M so the market has given us a bit of credit for the deal.
