Broom - How would you know about building a mine? CNR couldn't manage it on their own.

Broomtree - Building a mine without knowing the production costs would indeed be a very dumb move. Rest assured Darren has already taken all of this into account.

I believe we are still flying below the radar of many, but the next 9 months should be epic. Expected upcoming announcements:

1) Purchase of process equipment for La India confirmed - Q1

2) Drilling commenced at Dupax followed by announcement of resources - Q2

3) Drilling commenced Abra - Q1

4) Resource annoucement Abra - Q3

5) Annual Report - Q2

6) Drilling commenced La India - Q1

7) Civils start at La India - Q2

8) Start process plant assembly at La India - Q4

9) Quarterly announcements of $25M free cash flow - quarterly

10) Prove up other targets at La India - throughout the year.

By the end of the year I expect people to start taking notice.

Broomtree - Yeah, we had to pay CNR's acquisition costs (as well as our own) of around £2.5M because CNR were flat broke and couldn't pay themselves. That accounts for half of the loan.

AB - The mood in here would improve if ex-CNR holders stopped bleating about their old now non-existent company. CNR has gone! I'm not going to apologize for being 300% up on my original investment and I'm not trying to rub anyone's nose in anything. OK, I made a good investment in MTL, but I have made bad investments too. They are gone and left behind. Many long term MTL holders have done well and that's why we are content with the direction that the company is heading.

Surrey - I tend not to give target prices on here as others are bound to criticize. I am up 300% on my original investment in MTL not including an additional potential £100k on the CVR's. I'm happy that we bought CNR as I see very good value in it. But we also have Dupax and Abra. The massive Abra copper mine will likely dwarf La India, but Abra is very long term. We need the cash flow from La India to finance it.

With such unrealistic expectations Surrey, I'm beginning to understand why you lost your shirt on CNR...

Drilling? We already have a strongly performing Gold mine with record Gold prices. Drilling will bring the jam tomorrow. In my post I said a penny or two, which is a 16 to 33% increase. Look at our history and you will see that is not unusual. Anyhow, your opinion does not really matter to me as we all have different opinions for the potential of this company.

Frenchie - Q1 results and perhaps Dupax and/or La India news. Why do you think Drachs are buying?

Broom - I don't expect the needle to move much (maybe a penny or two), until the annual report is released towards the end of May. Q1 results will be good I expect, but a lot of investors will take note of the debt free balance sheet when the annual report comes out.

It appears that whilst you are selling, one of our billionaires is buying. I know who's lead I will follow.

Peanuts, not worth worrying about. There are always tax disputes and claims even in apparent save havens like Canada and the USA. Just a cost of doing business.

EL - "All in" on MTL is a bad idea I agree, but "all in" on a dozen gold juniors is also a bad idea. If you hit one winner out of a dozen gold juniors then you are doing well, so the one winner has to do very well indeed to cover the losses of the others. You need a diversified portfolio with no more than 10% in Gold or miners. It's a very risky sector to which exposure should be limited. If people wish to gamble with higher risk then that is up to them. Personally, I prefer a balanced approach with less risk.

The inventory of physical gold bullion in the Hong Kong Comex has fallen to a low that I cannot remember seeing - 150k oz when it usually averages 1M oz. Somebody tell me this is completely normal?
