Most of the NICU’s are using lab based MT RNR1 test (R65 test code) at the moment , I think the background work is already started to integrate GDR test into clinical pathways and training the staff , hence GDR are recruiting more staff . By the end of this year we will see more trusts using this test .

NHS Tayside not part of the PROGRESS Pilot study for CYP2c19 bedside test, so far only 4 hospitals , this pilot is mainly to determine how the POC fits into clinical pathways not for the accuracy of the test , I am very positive that stroke POC also gets very good reception.

There is a pilot programme whitin NHS to integrate POC in clinical pathways, cyp2c19 is big test for Genedrive and it is at the right time and with right test , it takes time but will come good .

The whole idea of integrating POC is Point-of-care testing can be conducted directly in stroke units, bypassing delays associated with laboratory-based testing.
