Oh I don't dispute that more votes will be cast this time round. I'm just noting that, even in circumstances like this, it is rare that a more than a relatively small % of shareholders will vote. A huge number of votes will be held by PIs with relatively small numbers of shares (less that 100,000 say (even if that might have been a big number 8 years ago!)) who will frankly be apathetic about voting (esp. if they don't know how to do so). That is why the board can probably be quite confident that the vote will carry.
