Seems some people trying to find the negative in that RNS (Reach or otherwise) but I don't see it.
Menzies and Air France are trialling our systems. No one claiming it is a contract.
But if...IF...Menzies or Air France see any potential in the system then the POTENTIAL here is HUGE given the scale of each organisation's operations.
And, lest we forget, in the current climate they are unlikely to be trialling the system on a whim. An approach like this is now a 'need to have'. The question is just who will supply it. And we are clearing well in the running.
Not the greatest endorsement.
...a measured RNS but seems pretty positive. Pleasing to see that Tema volumes are not really impacted by Covid and it sounds like KSA could be huge. It does feel like the underlying business has turned a corner and now provides a very solid foundation for future growth.
Why would you expect it to all be dealt with in a tripartite agreement? Why would we want to discuss revenue share and other liabilities between Scanport and WSG in the open with MPS? Or maybe that’s all implied. ;)
...you’d said in July that the contract would be signed and you could buy at sub nominal, there would have been an absolute stampede. When the markets normalise I think this will fly. Delighted with a little 9.4p top up today.
...really understand all the focus on small COVID contracts today and lack of interest in Benin. First confirmed airport location we’ve been tendering for some time, a clear recent tender close date and some evidence that it’s a multi-million contract. News on this could come any day.
Obviously Benin a bit of a hot potato but this gives some idea of the value of the security contract there:

Tender closed on 28 January 2020 for security operations at Cardinal Bernadin Gantin de Cotonou International Airport so I guess our hat is in the ring and results awaited:

500,000 passengers a year.
After the 30 days debacle, if I was PF, I wouldn’t say I expected the contract to be signed in February unless I was pretty confident it was to be signed in the first couple of weeks of the month, to give me some scope for slippage. So really could be any day...
...and take your seats. Peter’s Magnificent Bull**** Circus is about to begin! Marvel at the ever-expanding share base, gasp at the disappearing airport mentions and prepare to be dazzled by Jimzi’s magic invisible contract. The acts might look simple to perform, but watch in awe as Peter and his team make them immensely complex.
