Exactly, there would be little or no benefit to existing shareholders by having a secondary listing on another main board, and to be clear, it’s NOT a duel secondary listing its JOINT secondary listing that is proposed.. Duel listing is for merged companies that wish to retain separate identities on their respective exchanges, normally for tax efficiency reasons! AND it’s VERY expensively to have to comply with differing accountancy and Regulatory market reporting rules. Administration including associated staffing and accounting costs cost go through the roof.
The company doesn’t need that at this time!
Loads of large companies joint list, on several exchanges, not just two, its of more interest to the institutions dealing activities, there are no sp gains for private investors.
Possibly the company should have managed expectations about dividends, secondary listings and electrolyte plant buildings ... a bit better than they have!
