Yes Steve, obviously the company are more than well aware of the JSE application requirements, they are also more than well aware of their sp and it’s ups/downs and the reasons for it.
Personally I don’t think they need advice on how to effect that.
It will be something that is itemised on their agenda and they’re working their way through that agenda.
I believe that when they reach the point where all other considerations, including the significant financial administration costs and implications of a secondary listing (Its NOT a duel listing b-t-w that is an entirely different type of listing which doesn’t apply to BMN) and deem it the right time to make the move ... they will do. Not before.

The Johannesburg exchange application rules state that applications for secondary listing on its main exchange will not be accepted unless the applicant’s primary listing is also on a main exchange ... although applicants with a primary listing on an AltX (aim) can apply to also secondary list on Johannesburg’s AtlX.

It seems a de-list from aim and re-list on the London main exchange is something that needs to happen soon rather than later .... if it’s their intention to eventually get secondary listed on their main exchange.

@ MIKINAMAN. Dividends are paid to all shareholders who are on the shareholders register at the start of the ex divi period. Anyone buying shares during that period are EXcluded and buy them without the the next coupon entitlement. As has been said tho ... all that is some way off in the future yet, but just one point on div’s ... they can only be paid from profits, not revenue.

@ Setcentric, interesting and thanx. Great if we get something coming our way from the package tenders, but I’ve always been more excited and fancied us as the main player for the 2GW contract. Not least coz of our of our partnership with the the SA Gov investment arm and we've been helping the SA Gov on the design of it ... probably helped set out the T&C for it to preclude Litho! I’ve also seen it as a bit more all sort of all encompassing from a renewable energy generation ‘space’ ... and a project that could open out to some more lucrative partnership with some big SolarWind installers. Its that 2GW contract announcement I’m looking forward to and wouldn’t surprise me to see it all come together as an ‘all in’ major announcement by the end of next week.

My bet is end of next week. 21 -22nd. Possibly lumped in with the winner of the rather large emergency renewable energy contract announcement perhaps?

Quite, it ticks the boxes as an enabler and facilitator. Absolutely. But I posed it as a question! I did that because I’m not sure being a facilitator meets the criteria for it to included in the green sector investment funds, which is what this thread was about.

It’s a miner and processing the stuff it digs outta the ground isn’t a ‘green’ pastime. Neither is shipping it for use in the steel industry. Neither is transporting it to chemical processing plant and converting it into electrolyte.
And Vanadium when converted into electrolyte isn't ‘green’ ... it’s toxic. The only area ‘green’ comes into it, is if it’s in a battery (which itself isn’t ‘green’) that stores energy that’s been supplied from a renewable energy source.

A potentially interesting connection for a future iron ore off-take venture perhaps.

Roscoe, you maybe ok to go out in the middle of the night at this time of they year but the vast majority of the very elderly who are in the current high risk groups being targeted, have to wrap up like a deep sea diver and get into a wheelchair, lots have to be transported by their home careers and would rather just risk putting their electric blanket on and keeping to their normal bedtime.
The 24 hour a day idea is fine for more agile folk, most will be outside the over 75’s higher risk tier ... who maybe more inclined for some middle of the night rock‘n’roll excitement when the time to have a jab arrives.

Dive Brief:
Wind and solar will represent more than two-thirds of new energy production to come online in 2021, while battery storage capacity is set to quadruple over the next year, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).

Two-thirds of new solar projects are now built in tandem with energy storage, according to Sam Newell, a principal analyst for The Brattle Group.

At current pace, wind, solar and storage could overtake conventional technologies as the leading source of generation by the early 2030s, according to Wood Mackenzie principal analyst Robert Whaley.

It’s not a matter of lack of demand, it’s a logistical supply issue. As more vaccine becomes available, so more will be available to supplement the nighttime hours and the more 24hrs becomes a feasible operation ... . IF the are also sufficient numbers of staff to supervise the entrants and after effects 24 hrs a day ... and also ... jab!

A week so ago the price was reported as c.$166 per ton. Projection averages for year suggested c.§121 per ton. FM is on record as saying over $100 would make it a commercially financially viable proposition to get rid!

I looks like now would be the prime time for the bod to proactively explore this opportunity in order to maximise value.
