RE: 2mil+ oz gold company & production. 2026 3.00p+ a share journey.11 Apr 2026 21:38
Interesting thread. I run a Monte Carlo model which uses the historical gains to inform my best, probable, worst and E-value. I have only around 2M shares (limited funds apply!), so a good outcome from my limited holding is very much required. For what its worth my model shows worst= 1.4p, probable: 1.7p; best: 2.8p; E-value 1.82p (remember for 3 point estimates that E=((4*probable)+best + worst)/6. At around 1.9p I will take my capital and skim off some profit, leaving a residual that I will hope grows to some crazy value. So that is my target, just sub 2p. But my model shows it could go to nearly 3p (~10x).
I am not a trader, I only mess around with shares using maths, stats and forecasting techniques that I use for work (I am a cost modeller (using financial forensics) in a very different industry to Au). I like companies where I can see a genuine growth path, good fundamentals and strong management. I hold six AIM stocks in addition to ORR, mainly in oil, but also Biotech (AVCT).
I am interested in the chart-work by BIKWIK and others but wonder how much it is impacted by the very small statistical sample (small number of trades).
Anyway, that is my forecast, roll on 2p ish.
