Wow, a 12 x month-on-month increase in vanadium importing is HUGE!

That will push vanadium prices up soon enough. Especially if China continue to buy foreign vanadium at these levels.

If they increase their imports even further we could see a real boom in the Chinese V Price : )

No, there honestly isn't, in my opinion. I still believe DLG provides the most upside potential in the shorter term. That's why I've just put all my chips on DLG over the past 8 weeks.

So this really is a good share to tuck away for the yield in my opinion.

Definitely. £4bn+ MC, profitable, dividend paying, and some current ftse100 participants really struggling (ITV) especially, will mean DLG enters the FTSE100 in September.

The dividend has been resumed, as I had expected.

21.8p was the lower end of my expectations but it's still significant enough to get the market excited.

The Solvency Ratio increasing by 27% points says everything you need to know really, illustrating that there are more dividends to follow.

Dividend for the year will be 30p+

Revenues are flat (we expected this) and underlying profits are up 30% because motor claims have plummeted.

I had hoped for some more positive messaging but the Board of Directors seem to be a pessimistic bunch, hence why most the market couldn't see this dividend coming!

The proof is in the pudding however. ~22p dividend already announced and more yield to follow once they've concluded what will be an unusually profitable year.

Target price remains: 400p+ (as it has been since we were around 270p)

To be clear, I would happily continue buying, it's just that I feel a bit maxed out here, having bought 7 lots of DLG shares over 8 weeks! Far more than I first envisaged when I first invested here around 275p because I became increasingly confident that this is actually a superb buying opportunity.

Well I reckon there's 12-15% downside risk from here and easily 30%-45% upside potential depending on whether you include the expected dividend payments. On that basis, it may just be a calculated but very logical gamble.

Yes, the big seller was going for it today, and yet there were still more buys than (mostly their) sells, hence the slight rise.

This reminds me of how we spent 11-12 months discussing when the seller would finish up to no avail and then, when the dust finally settled, the share price jumped from about 8p to 23p in no time at all.

Spot on, Alfa! Journalism relies so heavily on advertising that they would 100% do something like that. Misleading af but not technically untruthful to fall foul of libel laws etc.

Also if you look at journalism techniques they always put what they don’t want you to read at the bottom. That’s why if you see a scathing article about the government doing X they’ll always stick the government’s response in the final paragraph.

That 82p Target Price is an increase from before, isn't it? Either way it helps illustrate how undervalued we are and the scale of the buying opportunity we've been presented here.

We've seen the BOD be very silent for weeks/months at a time, and then release 4-5 bits of very exciting news in as many weeks to cause the share price to go up and up and up before. So I wonder if we're near that point again, seeing as they've decided to push the button with Enerox purchase today!

Following up with Eskom news could send the shares flying.

Imagine if they were to announce a deal to supply vanadium for one of the other many other VRFB projects we've mentioned - like that colossal project announced in Saudi Arabia where construction will commence later this year!

Or to supply Indian Railways for the vanadium they want in their track.

Even a deal with VoltStorage would be very nice!

Very good point, the more that ZAR depreciates against USD, the lower the production costs, and therefore the profit margin will be higher.

When V selling prices are also increasing that means the % margin will be increasing even more so!

Can't believe they've sold 1,039,730 Bushie shares for just 11.1p -- that's pretty much giving it away!

Believe they will regret that within a couple of months.

Also that's by far the largest sell we've seen in ages. The fact it doesn't end in a round number strongly suggests that the seller may have actually finished.

If so we could see 14-15p within a few days I reckon, and 20p hopefully not long thereafter.

The other point worth noting is that sellers aren't always smart about when they sell. The DLG seller (an institutional investor actually) was selling 266-270p at times and now the share price is 307p within a month or so of the seller finishing up!

but Direct Line Group had background seller holding the share price within quite a narrow range of 267-281p for a good while. The seller finished up, as confirmed by an RNS, and the share price has since risen 10-15% already -- and that's off no news whatsoever.

So my feeling is that once the background seller finishes up here we'll have lift off. As ever, patience is needed, but it feels like we're closer than ever right now with the news coming through, and V prices rising each week.
