Fairly sure Bushveld's vanadium ("Nitrovan" ) trades at a premium already so it'll probably only require V prices to reach $40/kgV for Fortune to get his ideal price of $45/kgV for his vanadium product.

Also Daisydog it's worth remembering how rapidly Bushveld's share price can increase. I've seen it multiple times and just a few months back we saw a ~40% rise in a day on 7th April.

What happened on 7th April to cause that? Nothing.

Says it all really as to how unpredictable the short term price movements can be!

Agreed, you can't let small intra-weekly movements affect your mojo too much. If it does, you're more likely to sell shares and find yourself regretting it as time goes on.

tbf there's loads of different research papers out there on this. Some predicting an average of 37% increases per year, and some more pessimistic like the one I posted, but they're all pointing one way, and that's firmly upwards!

If you look at the number of VRFB projects being announced (or due to be announced) and also look at what Voltstorage are doing (who have generated lots of press coverage btw) it's clear that V demand for VRFBs will rise significantly

And Bushveld is the only vanadium producer on the London Stock Exchange!

Hmm sounds like MM games to push the price up too fast in order to put off those looking to buy in and to encourage selling, in order to then walk the price down and cause some PIs to panic sell, which appears to have worked. As I said yesterday, the best thing to combat this is to hold on to your shares. Once the game hasn't worked for them, the MMs will have to bring the price back up.

Honestly does seem it is still just this 1 large seller holding this back - and perhaps spooking a couple of traders who don't realise what they're selling!

Once the seller takes finally runs out the share price should increase rapidly to 20p again.

My target is 100p+ which, broadly speaking, is based on...

(1) My expectation that V demand and prices will increasing significantly as a result of demand exploding as a result of VRFBs becoming increasingly used as part of energy transition and based on the fact there's expected to be a widening supply deficit in years to come; and

(2) My expectation that Bushveld's own production and sales will continue to increase rapidly to 2-3 times more than what they produce at present.

(3) My belief in the CEO & BOD to continue to execute what has so far been an excellent strategy and to continue to negotiate superb deals like they have done in the past - as proven by the NAV increasingly multiple times over in the past few years.

(4) It's ridiculously undervalued based on existing profits and looking at the P/E and EV/EBIT ratios. In a way that defies all logic.

DYOR of course but Bushveld is by far my favourite company in my investment portfolio and my largest holding because I believe it will multibag many times over in the years to come.

My immediate term target (over the next 3 months) is to return to 20p - which is still 50% above where we are now.

What frustrates me is that Bushveld’s share price has broadly followed the vanadium price decline down to a T up until Covid. Covid news sent shares rapidly falling everywhere. Most companies that are actually rather unaffected by Covid have recovered fast to their pre-Covid level (or close to) but we are still 35% away from our pre-Covid level.

And what makes it all the more ridiculous is that the vanadium commodity price has actually increased in recent months.

Whilst it is frustrating it does present us with a great buying opportunity.

Similar thing happened with DLG. It was trading roughly 40% lower than it’s pre-Covid level, I realised this was v unfair so bought at that level, and now it’s very almost back to where it was. Once I’ll sell (1st sell will be a week from today) it’ll be some of the easiest money I’ve ever made. And I’m to definitely going to be investing more here because this is an even greater buying opportunity in my opinion.

Especially now there’s been such definitive progress with Eskom. (And I include the Enerox acquisition completion as part of that)

Looks like that v large sell of 1.5m shares at the v end of yesterday may have caused a slight overhang today.

It’s either that or people are falling for classic MM games to cause panic to get shares on the cheap.

Either way, I’m feeling confident with the news due to be announced. An Eskom tender bid RNS could send the share price rising sharply!

14-15p now feeling v close

It came out on 31 July last year and in early August previously so yes it is imminent

We now know there's a BESS tender this month for that windfarm, which will be announced later this year, and there'll be much more to follow!

In addition to Vanadium prices rising upwards at present, and expected to increase significantly to match increased demand (some of which will be from govt stimulus packages), which will naturally improve the BMN share price, we're expecting the following news:

-Q2 Operational Update - this is imminent
-Vametco mini grid news.
-Electrolyte production to come.
-Bushveld Energy contracts.
-Mokopane offtake news/DFS completion
-JSE listing.
-Invinity news - who have already received orders for 40 vanadium flow batteries since the start of 2020
-Enerox news - announced and seems to have helped us rise up from 11p to 13.5p now
-Lemur disposal?
-Institutional Investor - sudden purchasing from an II or two, after months of courtship?

-Govt stimulus packages aimed at green energy - $35bn for solar farms recently announced in the USA, etc
-Companies investing in green energy more than ever.
-Colruyt Group investing and selling vanadium batteries across Europe. Who else will also start investing in vanadium?
-A growing awareness of the limitations and risks involved with lithium batteries.
-A growing awareness of the need to store energy for when the sun isn't shining etc
-Projects being announced that will require lots of energy storage batteries - e.g. Cleve Hill Solar Project in Kent given UK Govt approval recently .

despite Norges Bank selling about 682,000 shares (worth about £2.2m at today's pricing).

Had they not done this we would comfortably by trading above 340-350p already. But this doesn't concern me because I believe we'll reach that point anyway over the next week.

Target price remains: 400p+ + there's 21.8p in dividends being paid out v soon

We held 13p and actually continued to rise yesterday. (I was out yesterday so only just saw this)

Feel this bodes very well for the next step up with more news on the way!!

The market makers are short of shares and could see they couldn’t continue to keep the price below 12p so they hiked it up so suddenly to a level where people suddenly would have to pay 20% more than they did this time yesterday. As a result the buyers get hesitant and the buying pressure evaporated and now they’re walking down the price again in the hope people panic and sell shares to them.

The best thing for us to do here is to stay long and strong so the MMs have to close their position. That way this can rise naturally back up to 20p

Know where you're coming from, it wasn't just luck as to why I'm here (and FYI remained long throughout the entire time I was massively down sub 2p a share). It did require lots of research and patience and all of those other good things. I merely felt it was a harsh thing to say to someone who was down potentially just because they heard about BMN a few years later than some of us lucky ones.

And yes I agree, people should look beyond the sp and focus on the huge progress made here.

The share price will eventually catch up.
