Checking in every quarter as I tend to do, given this was one is on my watch list. Amazed to see this is so low: 1.1p as I check it. 52 weeks low was at 1.06. Why is this drifting again, seems there is no end to it? I always assumed this share would not recover before spring 2019. Clearly was too optimistic. Hope this business will turn around soon

Service division (our means to end for today), doing a whole lot better than PQE (that long term means to an end... 0.18 CAD now...ouch!)

For me, impossible to know right now. I still feel the company isn’t clear enough in what it wants to achieve. Hoping we will get a better insight into this in a couple weeks when they announce the next steps following their CPR. I am also keen to learn more about the potential of the service division. Is this a means to an end (i.e. generate sufficient positive cash flow to invest in capex to increase bopd/new acreage etc) or is there an even bigger future for this division?

Seems like the entire O&G sector is zeroing in on those countries. Will be quite the stunt if the BOD gets us a sweet deal in that part of the world! M&A, at the best of times, always takes longer than anticipated, but this may help to explain why this has been going on for a while. Usually a good sign btw when M&As have been negotiated for some time. Means it’s done properly

Some big money has been lost in oil sands. PQE’s proposition is going to have to quite something to boldly succeed where big companies have failed before.
