You said any buying volume will send the price up but you are saying there are few shares to buy so where will the volume come from? Then you have just said every time there is a sniff of volume the availability melts away and they put the brakes on so how will the price go up? Not me that is arguing black is white lol. Are you seriously saying there is no decent availability out of 1.05bn shares in a company like AAU? Good to see you haven't changed luckypunter.

If liquidity is as tight as you suggest the MMs would be increasing the price and making a market. It's nonsense to think liquidity is a problem here and somehow stagnating the share price.

After such good news volumes are tiny, why would that be then hmmmm!! Liquidity tight, what rubbish. Over 200m shares issued with the bucket shop in a year.

Craig if the mind boggles at why the SP is in such a malaise you need to think about bit harder.

Tracylied I think you need to check SML, they did just that. So you are saying AAU are now covered for exploration costs from RR income and there will be no more dilution except for an acquisition?

Tracylied if that was the case then why didn't the company make that clear. They didn't even make clear how much of that income, if any, was received from the JV. It was the perfect time to quell any speculation. I would suggest much of the malaise and lack of buying is because of that. The company need to make a statement to that effect if it is the case. If not the speculation will continue.

Yes Tracylied fair play to you on that and the company of course. I think they have missed a trick on not saying what monies they are to receive from that production so one is left to assume none and thus dilution still a worry. Get clarification on funding and lose the overhang and the brakes should come off. Of course it would help to get some bullish broker notes and some instituional investors interested.

Great set of production figures, unfortunately AAU missed a trick not mentioning if any of that cash has come in to the company thus quashing fears of further dilution. Brokers comments rather underwhelming and overhangs still very much in process.

Very pleased in the uplift in volume. Bodes well.

Ruben one day you may actually post something sensible and back up your thoughts on AAU instead of just saying I am negative. At least I have an opinion and it isn't so much that they are overpaid. Look at my posts from way back since you have been whining at me. Look at what has gone on since, look at the SP and then ask yourself who has been right. And I have no idea who Ian is.

Benjie it matters not. They are all paid very well and bought shares in the placing at a totally awful price. I would have sooner them not bought and got the placing away at a much better price. Better still have better managed the money from the previous two placings and not needed to raise at all.

The market does know but it also knows this company is still very much an exploration company with little or no income and a propensity to make bad funding decisions and keep deeply diluting long suffering shareholders. Never mind at least Mr.Sener and his cronies are making a good living out of it.

Let's wait and see.
