haha thanks for the personal pick Chameleon. i am as happy as you to see the share price rising. and if things progress quicker than i expect in Oman, then its great, ill be celebrating. I am fully aware that if SAV can start producing copper by year end an start generating 10mn+ of free cash flow from 2019, it would be a great fit to start funding part of the capex in portugal and reduce dilution meaningfully.
But i reiterate that Oman is a very small asset (have we ever increased the jorc in Oman over the last few years - how bid do u think it is) compared to Moz and portugal and that if you discount the poor bureaucracy in Oman, it makes the asset much less relevant than the other 2 an especially Portugal which i repeat is turning out to be a beast.
Now based on Alara suspension, one could suspect Pam is about to sign off on a mining licence for them, and hopefully for SAV very shortly. this would be amazing timing.
for me, today's rise is long overdue for many more reasons than Oman admin progress.
Mina Do Barroso is easily worth over 300mn USD as it is. I think the project can increase 50-100% in size by the time we produce spodumene.
regarding Oman, please let sav prove me wrong and we shall all be celebrating at the pub together.
