My point was that I don’t think it’s a lack of capital holding back the tidal division! Strangy I think that without CfD’s or some other support from international governments then you can only do so much by throwing money at it. Offshore wind has only got to the level it has because of government support, even on shore wind has only recently (comparatively) because of the government support that was given in the first place

It may be because Tim didn’t have the experience of the kind of project size uskmouth will be and rolling it out to other sites requires a different skill set. Maybe Tim felt like he wasn’t getting to do the entrepreneurial work he likes doing anymore. Either way the new guy sounds like he is very well suited and RES is certainly a company that would have given him a wide range of experience in the renewables field and for him to go from RES to a company of our size shows that he clearly believes simec Atlantis is going places

I think the focus was more on India than Israel was it not? That was my understanding anyway! I also think that for the whole world to get vaccinated that will take until 2022 at least and things are just kicking off so there is time for plenty more orders to arrive. I don’t think there was anything too rampy about the tweet either, it’s not bad publicity to be seen to be helping the covid situation, however I also don’t think that sales from units in freezers is going to have a material impact on the bottom line.
