Anytime you can bring your average down and you aren’t exposing your self to undue risk is always a win! Well as you have stated, you expected the interims to not be a plethora of good news so waiting until they have been released was probably the right move, although the share price was around the 0.85 mark only a few weeks ago, but we can’t always buy at the low lows! But to be pushing up from there and be where we are now with an average interim report is good and there’s clearly future positivity regarding the share, let’s hope it can be backed up with facts ;-)

No, but at the same time as I’m sure you well know, rumours and whispers of deals can well turn out to be true and if I’m understanding correctly about who you are referring to then that is their thing and what they are building their persona shall we say on - being first to hear that kind of news and being a go to person for a source of good share tips. So inevitably there will be some ramping but whether they are doing it just to profit off tricking other people i don’t believe and that they are doing it as a group I’m also not sure I buy into. I can understand your gripes, I saw what the rns was about and then checked the comments and then read the report and couldn’t match the titles of the comments to the report. We all have different standards and maybe your’s are higher and others are lower, which is another factor to remember!

Well I’m not sure either about cropx, however it could still be a decent contributor to the bigger picture, agritech is certainly a growing market! It’s all subjective anyway, cropx may rise the sp to 3p but another deal could get it to 30p, in which case cropx becomes minor. You can’t be the protector of other people’s money, if they are buying or selling because of what people write on these boards when there’s very little evidence to back up what they are saying then that’s on them and trying to stop that happening is a waste of your time. The hardest bit will be when someone makes a prediction and it comes right and then rubs it in, not replying to stuff like that requires Buddha like calmness of mind haha

Potentially, but if you get into the mindset that everyone who is positive about a company is doing it to rise the price so they can sell then you end up including a lot of people in there who just want to believe that where they have their money is going to make them rich and do it quickly and then when you hit them with a dose of reality they get angry because instead of making money they are losing it - on paper at least - and then they think you are doing it to push the price down to buy in low and make money when in reality neither of you are doing what the other thinks. Of course both do exist and god I hope I’m right when I say that not as much as people think

It’s hard to remain objective and take in all the facts when investing, but it’s also hard not to get into an argument and write things just to prove a point. It’s quite easy to fall into one of the two main categories of poster on these boards and you either end up writing just positive posts or just negative and very rarely is the reality that black or white.

Yes the results are mixed, there both good and bad in there, COVID has set us back which Is the last thing we need and the results have stated we shouldn’t expect to be fully recovered until 2021 as I read it. But we have a diverse customer base however you want to look at it and certain metrics are improving and we are moving from a position of strength in terms of orders being put on hold rather than cancelled and political tensions being resolved in the region that they operate. I personally think anything below the 0.9p mark is a strong buy, this was at 3.6p with a lot less going for it only a couple of years ago

I honestly think that a PPA will be the way that tidal seriously takes off for us, the CfD’s have never materialized although I live in hope every year and maybe just maybe they will have a separate pot for offshore wind but there’s other technologies in the pot we would be in that would come in at a lower strike price so competition would still be fierce and I’m not sure we could compete

Army? Who said anything about detecting an army? It’s jihadist fighters moving in small groups which you won’t detect unless you have continuous high resolution imaging which is why I am saying it’s not happening. French troops were ambushed only in December by well over 40 jihadists on motorbikes yet somehow they weren’t spotted and that was the first operational drone strike in Mali which was sent to assist the French troops

Miagi, the continuous high resolution satellite coverage you are talking about is not free. Running jets as surveillance is not free and there are a very limited amount of drones in Mali and they are not patrolling that ‘choke point’.

Miagi you are right, those technologies exist, but the cost to run them continuously over a 500km stretch is astronomical and I can promise you, is not happening in mali. Continuous surveillance of that nature doesn’t even happen during when the Americans go to war

Did anyone guess the q2 production correctly in the end? I’ve topped up here and feel it wouldn’t take much for me to break even and then not much more to be in decent profit. Q2 was always going to be difficult but I don’t think many quite realised how bad and I’m not going to pretend I know enough to have even made a decent prediction that would have been close. If we can hit the basic level of just surviving until corona passes then we should be fine and with the new site management in place this should be a distinct possibility
