We do not know if the fees were in Eurasia's view excessive, and worth trying as you do in business to get best deal possible. We do not know if set fees were discussed and agreed on, before Gowlings possibly introduced extra charges for work done. Gowlings and Eurasia agreed a payment figure, we do not know if this payment was less or more than the original, however in business it pays not to just accept charges presented to you, if you think unreasonable, and justification and clarity of such, is worth seeking before paying. I have no knowledge if this is the case, just as you have no knowledge that such actions were necessary or unnecessary.
