Good post as usual, and i take on board all your points. Its hard to define what insider knowledge consists of, and perhaps i was of the hopeful view that during current negotiations, Options could not be exercised. It will be very interesting to see what happens next, but im still of the view that if these options are not taken up, then something bigger is in the pipeline.
Maybe my naievity , only time will tell.

I think the POW rns confirms what i indicated, so we wait and see what the anticipated RNS says.

I think your stockbroker has related the options to non directors of a company, in which case he is correct, but on this occasion the Options are for Directors , and therfore during NDA's, Sale M&A's etc, its classed as insider information and cannot be exercised unless Sale is announced prior to exercise date i.e 2nd November. Im still not 100% sure, but will gladly accept anyones certain knowledge on this matter.

I disagree re Options, in my view if they are taken up, that indicates that No sell Deal is currently likely, as you cannot take up options under NDA's, as that would be classed as insider trading. If Options are allowed to be lapsed then possible deal still on table, and potential for greater value. AIMO, and here to debate if you have other views.

Unfortunately in todays world, boards like this and the Internet have given a platform for these sad individuals, whom previously had to live their lives being basically ignored, and the world was a better place. They feel empowered that people actually respond to them which has never happened before and that justifies their contstant sad existence.
Eventually one day they will come to accept that no one is really listening, and its back to the one room shed muttering how the world has treated them.
