Over the last few weeks I would say that resistance is around .9 and support has been around .7 ...if .9 can be broken which the share price has stayed near to then we may finally start to see an upward trend .. sometimes patience is needed though because when shares flatline this can go on for a while ...

I thought my eyes were deceiving me when I saw Mosman held on to it's earlier gain ... Usually with the early 10 % plus gains they are often lost later in the day ( or at least over the last few months they have been ) ...let's hope we see more frequent days like this going forward ....

You mention the market having valuations of companies about right ....This may be true but not always as valuations are often based on sentiment...not on the actual worth ( or book cost ) of the company which can often indicate a very different value ...When a penny share company suddenly finds favour with shareholders because of some sudden good news... the valuations can often go mental and bear no valuation to that particular company ...

I think the 38 million shares in issue that you are seeing showing on different sources is an error ...The total market cap for this is showing as £30,453.59 which is an error as well ... Purely from memory ( and another poster is perfectly welcomed to correct me if they think this is wrong ) the total number of shares in issue was around 3.6 billions ... Now I know that is a big number but it is dwarfed by others in this sector ... Reabold Resources 8.93 billion shares ...Baron Oil 11.58 billion shares ...And the king of share dilution ...
..U K Oil and Gas 16.24 Billion shares !!!...

Off course with AIM the up and down patterns of the shares can be vary unpredictable ...But a familiar pattern with these types of shares is where they flatline / or very little happens for a medium to longer period and then suddenly they lift very high into outer orbit on some very good news about the company ...In this situation I think it can be very lucrative to build a good position size while the shares are flatlining which is what I am currently trying to do with Mosman ...But each shareholder must of course consider the upside potential to the downside risk with any penny share ...

From your awnser ......I take this that you have absolutely no idea how the timescale for the Australian Helium project is effected by the survey delay.......I will wait to see if anyone does know the timescale situation ....if not I will take you up on your suggestion and then make that information available on here ....

I watched the recent Interview given by Andy Carroll for Proactive on YouTube ...he was asked about the exploration for Helium/ etc in Australia ... Although the interview only briefly touched on Australia , Andy Carroll replied that because of issues with Covid/ Lockdowns etc in Australia that the survey work had been delayed from originally October until March ....I just wondered if a share holder with good technical knowledge of this can say how the timescale for the entire project is now effected ..I know this may seem like a stupid question but is he now saying the whole project is 6 months delayed or not ...For what timescale ( if it is possible to predict ) would Mosman be expecting a successful result for the Australian project ????..An advanced many thanks for any replies ... I just wish to say that mostly the Mosman message board has been a fairly decent message board with lots of informative post for new investors trying to find out basic information and disagreements about the company performance kept to civil standards ...I have seen other message boards where maybe because the share price has fallen some of the shareholders end up attacking each other with endless messages that are personal attacks on each other and have absolutely nothing to do with the company ...It's the type of thing that could scare of any new share holders and it would be sad if the Mosman message board went down the same route ...In a nutshell ..it's okay to disagree ..but keep the different points of view about the company and not on each other !!!

Possibly missed by some shareholders over the last 24 hours is the big jump in Natural Gas prices which currently stand at over $4.5 million per British Thermal units and the upwards climb of WTI Crude Oil currently over $87 dollars per barrel...

Interesting to read the short AskTraders Article on Mosman Oil and Gas regarding yesterdays share price drop ...In brief the article states that sentiment has been against Mosman for a while because of previous impairment charges which occurred in 2020 but we're not recognized until the 2021 fiscal year ...Also production hiccups in the late part of 2021 is the other reason but this is now behind the company ... However the article states that Mosman has very promising prospects and the share price should be much higher than the current level .......( stock consolidation is mentioned ... obviously the writer was not aware this has been cancelled ) ....

I do not know what has caused a violent reaction with the share price ....In a nutshell I read it at as most of the issues for Mosman for 2021 are behind them and the turnover should be continuing to get better throughout this year .( Do not forget 2020 and 2021 have been fairly traumatic years for many companies ) ...I for one will be more than happy to increase my holding at these levels once the initial reaction to the RNS is over ...

Admittedly not to be taken to seriously but a Computerized Algorithm called AI Pick Up is forecasting an average of .45 pence per share for Mosman during the course of this year and 1.08 by 2024 ... Should this share forecasting computer make an accurate prediction on the Mosman share price then I will never make my own judgements on picking shares again !!!

WTI Crude is at over $86 a barrel with the potential to hit $100 a barrel this year ... meanwhile natural gas futures are holding up strong as well...

So the those that were forecasting consolidation followed by a placing turns out to be nonsense ,..maybe some investor confidence may return to Mosman again ...

WTI Crude is back up to $80 dollars a barrel , post Omicron scare ... while Natural Gas is holding up well at around $ 3.7 + per million British thermal units ......I am not saying better decisions regarding company policies could not have been made over the last few years but please bear in mind the company was always going to struggle over the last couple of years .. especially when the price of oil crashed down to $16 a barrel late April 2020 and has been trying to recover since this date ...Some share holders cannot pretend this period did not exist and did not have any effect on the company finances ...

A number of posters were suggesting share dilution will start all over again once the share consolidation has taken place ... Putting aside how well or poorly the company has been run ( I know there are plenty off post on this site on that subject ) one has to consider how Mosman has arrived in the current situation ...This is a brief rundown of Mosmans Financial History....1 Taking the Net Income or losses in Australian Dollars for Mosman for each year ending 30 th.June since 2015 ...then the figures are 2015 ..- 4.27 ..2016.. - 4.89 ...2017 ..-9.07 ...2018 ...- 4.1 ...2019 ..-1.21 ..2020 ..- 4.84 ...2021 ..- 1.36 ....// ... Revenue 2015 was 0.004.. by .2021 ...0.82 ....which represents an increase off around 20 % per year although in a highly erratic fashion ...also to mention no debts or long term liabilities ..One other thing that muddies the waters here is the big impact of Covid and the Lockdowns etc in 2020 to 21 and the crash in the oil price during this period ... Looking at these historical figures it appears share dilution was unavoidable because had the company tried to borrow it's way out of its yearly losses by now it appears the debts would have been too great for the company to cope up with and share holders may have done worse than even now and lost everything ... However production from it's wells is increasing and commodity prices have improved greatly in the last six months so possibly 2022 is the year Mosman can turn a corner and at least with no debt overhang finally start to return a decent profit...

It looks like we maybe finishing the Old Year with a bang ..but it's the wrong type off bang !!!...Here's wishing all share holders have a better 2022 with Mosman ....

What puzzles me is why the timing for the share consolidation was announced now? ...Is it possible the thinking is... with much better news for the company in 2022 they are thinking with much less shares in issue this will help to push up the share price higher next year than in relation to pre-consolidation ???

Oil and gas are enjoying a post Christmas bounce with US Oil ( and Brent ) now at its highest price since the Omicron news first became known and US natural gas futures back at around $4 per million British thermal units ... against this backdrop 2022 should be a year for Mosman !!!

Being invested in Small Cap penny stocks is like being a member off the Jehovah Witness ...We are all waiting for... The Good News .. no matter how long this may take !!!.. Hopefully in Mosmans case this should help to push the share price in a heavenly direction by January or February ...!!
