Could be a trade reported to the exchange after it was executed. This can happen with very large trades (blocks) that have a delayed reporting window.

I can only assume. No different to the 4 unknown ordinary trades totalling £58m in Wednesday which was displayed after-market hours. Spoofing?

What we are seeing are the big boys (bullion banks, COMEX, CME, FED, USA) spoofing the markets because they was probably losing big time shorting gold and silver and need an off-ramp to not lose big and hence towards last week this market crash was engineered by them to allow them to exit with their heads up high. Paper Silver does not equal physical silver and everyone be laughing at them if they had to knock as everyone's door to buy scrap silver cutlery to melt into 999.9 silver.

I get the feeling these unknown trades of zero amount or tiny volumes in a batch of 30 to 50 trades be it executed during the day or after market hours are to push and mask what's happening after market close. For example, you see two trade at £20m each displayed after market closed, I bet you they'll push a lot of zero or tiny volume unknown trades in so it pushes the two unknown $20m trades down the table and make it hard for anyone to adsorb this trade information.

Take a look now at the trades disclosed after 16:30pm - Two ordinary unknown trades at 11:14am at £20m each a total value of £40m. I bet you it was a buy trade into FRES.

$144m loss by ( Xu Maohua, a metals dealer) is peanuts in the grand scheme of things and China is probably happy to have an escape goat to stop it's citizens doing this casino trading in precious metals.

Silver, FRES down and so is my paper profits dip a bit.

If FRES falls to zero SP then i'm still in profit so just going to keep on buying the dips but at major support levels and dollar (£) cost average in small increment amounts then to larger increment amounts.

As for silver and gold falling, that's okay given the underlying factors in the real global economy have not changed. So HOLD and BUY dips on FRES.

All the institutional ratings of a higher FRES SP means nothing to me so just noise.

My entry points in FRES be these levels 41%, 51% and 71% below the FRES ATH of £44.72. The percentages more reflective of what one would expect from recessions or global financial crisis like in 2008/09.

The 25% dip from FRES ATH as of now is not attractive for me to buy in FRES given the risk of catching more falling knives. So sitting on hands at the moment whilst waving a flag (cheering) on either direction (up or down) the FRES SP goes.

Lower silver prices means they'll buy up silver stock-piles from aboard and hence can make affordable goods to sell at home and to the world.

I doubt China sees a need to hold too much foreign currencies or debt from the west, so gold and silver or their own currency will do fine.

I'd be happy if the US government, COMEX or foreign US entity decides to acquire FRES so it becomes a US strategic national asset.

So FRES SP falling heavily might be an opportunity to buy more shares into FRES.

This will help resolve US paper gold and silver issue. LOL

It's all digits and zeros on a computer screen generated by banks. Move amount from 'A' to 'B' and then add a plus or minus. If the banks are caught off guard then the governments will print more money (aka add a few digits and zeros into their bank account) to help them out.

Summary: Gold and Silver SP will be a lot higher after 1 year following this correction on Friday from his statistically analysis the probabilities are favourable of that happening .

He makes sense and what's for sure is that the industrial use cases for silver are a lot more in this era than in the past.

Gives me a bit of confidence to keep a clam head and over-react on the crash in FRES SP.

- The millennials and younger generation see this gold and silver fall as an unknown, scared and panic situation where they will probably exit the gold and silver holdings.

- Despite China want more gold and silver, China did halt consumers from buying gold and silver at these market highs on Friday. So I doubt China will fight pushing gold and silver prices higher given they're more than happy to buy the actual physical precious metals in the future on the cheap. I can only assume the Shanghai Metal Exchange Gold and Silver prices will fall on Monday and the coming weeks. China is happy with playing the long game to drain the western vaults of their gold and silver on the cheap as well as make cheaper EV, Solar and etc with the cheap silver.

- Comex has increase margin requirements again on Friday (8% on Gold futures and 15% on silver futures) so want to crush the high volume of long contracts which matures in in March 2026 as well as ensure the longs can meet their contractual obligations. So expect sellers to push gold and silver down because the can't bare the loss or fund their margin requirements. Plus USA is the reserve currency so never bet against USA with a endless money printing press.

- USA wants a strong dollar again and Trump's preference of the Fed replacement to Powell so proves that gold and silver is not their priority. Plus a strong dollar will help to cancel out Trump's tariffs policies which helps with his Nov 2026 mid-term elections.

As much I want to be bullish about BRICs, China's appetite for more gold and silver, identifying this was a rug pull by COMEX and bullion banks; it does not change the facts to be pragmatic the stellar rise of gold and silver SP has to come to an end as sometimes ongoing higher material inputs will only hinder economic development\ growth.

I' m not going to catch a falling knife of FRES via Dollar Cost Average so accept the horse has bolted out the stables and will reduce my exposure and look for exits towards March 2026 and later. Expect ripples of what happened on Friday to affect equities too.

Switching to profit preservation on FRES. HOLD, SELL the 30's SP buys and then buy on DIPS at a much lower level for FRES.
