Yes... It's all to with demand and supply and Israel and USA are destroying Iran's largest gas field today only means Iran will do the same and attack Qatar and Saudi's gas fields too.

They're both climbing up the escalation ladder............Petrol and gas prices are going up.

My suspicion is that the war will NOT come to an end soon.

Why:

- USA & Israel are unAliving all the Iranian lenders so no peace talks.

- B52 bombers are in the Middle East.

- Both sides are bombing or missile striking each other daily.

- Based (industrial) & PM metals like (copper, iron, steel, aluminium, silver and gold) are falling in value.

- Oil price and stocks are going up.

- More alarming articles with inflation is going up and economies are falling into a recession.

On the positive note, a great to time buying into silver (FRES) at certain support levels and also defensive stocks that can ride an economic slump in the global economy:

- FRES SP has low trading volumes and is testing the low end of the support SP range at £33.03 trying to stay above £33 which is a 25%+ discount from the ATH FRES SP.

- The longer the Iran war carries on the more likely we see £31.30 (30% discount) in FRES SP with a support at the £30 (32.9% discount) mark.

- Should you consider profit-taking in FRES then remember £35 is the new resistance level during war times.

Play the long term gain where silver and gold will beat most of the other asset classes.

I know where I'm buying FRES and it's probably near half the £60.00 value or much lower. :)

China be fine given they have 85% energy independence and Russia next door with ample of oil and gas.

I'm more worried about UK and the rising cost of gas and electricity bills now given we had every opportunity to make robust. Like in 2015 China and EDF was going to upgrade our nuclear power stations at Hinkley Point C nuclear plant which our UK government dithered and only in 2022 did they paid China £100m to exit the project. Like UK could of sourced cheap LNG gas from Russia prior to the Ukraine war yet we cut our ties and opted for expensive Qatar and USA gas. Our UK energy independence is trash and the average UK household bills in 2026 £1850+ compared to in 2020 which was £1000.

If FRES SP ever recovers then logical to use profits to get solar at home or at least a domestic power station to get the cheap off-peak electricity tariff. What's happening to Silver is also happening to Oil. A disconnect of what western exchanges perceives the price of paper Silver or Oil should be when compared to the realities of what the physical producers of Silver or Oil sets the prices to be.

The recent releasing on strategic oil reserves by Western governments might help prop up the stock markets in the short-term (2-3 weeks) yet should there be no peace in the Middle East after 2-3 weeks; then expect oil prices to go higher and silver (industrial metal) to go lower as a result of slowing economic growth attributed to high factors of production cost.

In the long-term, silver and gold will increase in value given western societies will switch to renewable energy as to insulated themselves (household and commercials) from energy price inflation; and hence more solar, EVs which means higher silver prices. I'm sure the big institutional investors are aware of this and will be buying into physical silver and silver miners on the cheap so it's all a matter of timing in buying in at the right low prices and riding silver or miner stocks prices higher.

This on-going USA & Israel war against Iran which only started (15 days) is not good for the world economy as we're dragged further into deep recession.

The attack on Kharg Island today (90% Iran's oil infrastructure) might push World oil prices higher ($100+) if Iran deems the attacks harming their oil infrastructure they will retaliate (destroy all US interest oil infrastructure in Middle East. e.g. Halliburton and etc) as mentioned yesterday.

We've seen what happened to the stock market this trading week (RED week) so expect more overall red days next week with this Kharg Island attack by USA and Israel.

We all retail and institutions) had the opportunity to buy on Friday but Trump and weekends spells danger. Still early days into this war, so I'm not going to catch a falling knife with DCA buys on FRES or any stocks and will wait for clarity of a resolution of lasting peace in the Middle East with all parties involved.

As for oil, still have Shell and BP brought many moons ago during the Covid period which are up 300% and yielding 11%+ dividends.

Taking a pause from adding into FRES and will wait till FRES SP exits the trading band £33.42 and £44.72. Will some take profit at £43+ should it shoots up. Good to see Gold and silver holding well.

Took a small position into Hikma Pharmaceuticals (HIK) today given its a generic medicine company, exiting FTSE 250, fallen from ATH at 50%+ and yielding over 5% dividend returns.

Let's not bash people for having a different (negative or positive) perspective. It's all helpful as to keep one grounded rather in a echo chamber of a single perspective. As mentioned today, people talked about the opportunity to exit FRES at £43 and then buy at a lower low share price (which I did). Valuable information i'd say given it's a resistance SP level for FRES or a support SP level should FRES surpass £43.

As for today, a lots of after market buys into FRES so lets see how high FRES SP can go during the Iran war and somehow a sturdy silver price. It does look like we are trading in trading band for FRES at £33.43 extreme lows or £35 and highs at £43 or more to £44.72 which is the ATH. Happy to take some profits at £43 should FRES SP revisit it.

I'm holding but sitting it out for better buy entry points.

I sense there be lower, lows in FRES SP given the Iran war is not a quick fix so I'm going to wait a bit longer and then buy FRES or other stocks at much lower prices.

It's probably wise to not buy any stocks today. Not even going to buy FRES today.

Destroying water desalination plants and oil depots/refineries in the Middle East and on both sides is not going to end well for the UK and world.

Remember when Oil was at $150 a barrel? Well it was in Mid 2008 and near of the top of a roller-coaster ride which we headed to one of the biggest global financial crisis which lasted or at least 1.4 years.

I only deal with the realities than the 'hear say' (some true, some false) which is in the interest of governments make up some lies to scare it's own citizens and thus reduce our civil freedoms and increase the big brother surveillance on us.

It's without doubt that USA stealing Venezuela oil and then attacking Iran to caused WW3 in the Middle East that has lead to higher petrol and diesel prices in the USA because of higher demand and less substitutes. To add fuel to fire, the US mid-terms in Nov 2026 will probably see petrol and diesel restrictions out USA and hence this will add higher cost to Mexico in sourcing and importing of these fuels. FRES production cost will rise and future profits dented unless Silver prices rises. Yet its not in USA interest to keep silver prices high so they have every interest to beat it down by whatever illegal and sly ways possible as we have seen.

US and Israel attack on Iran is the UK and Europe's problem given the unchecked refugees flooding our country will make our country less safe. Why not just leave them alone, give up on stealing their resources and focus on fixing our own freedoms and broken economy in the UK.

What goes around comes around and it's not America 6,500 miles away that be impacted, it be UK and Europe that absorb the brunt of the economic, social and violent hardship. It's scary living in London and foremost our safety is shaken everyday as we step out the door.

At 13:56pm today some institution brought two £15m trades (TOTAL £30m) in FRES at £35.76.

Try to think of the bigger picture here. The Iran war will drag the world into a bigger recession so it doesn't matter if you're right or wrong about FRES real SP value as nobody buy in a market crash.

Just position yourself ready so it be like March 2009 a perfect time to shop for discounted stocks with great fundamentals. That day will come.

I'm guessing it be like this:

Further downwards movement in FRES SP in the morning subjected to the US Dow Jones sinking down further into the red at close of business today.

Not everyone will see what has happened to FRES today, so the morning they will panic sell the FRES holdings in the morning thus depressing FRES SP downwards.

Given Trump is full of surprises at weekends, then FRES SP will probably be in the red at close of business on Friday.

Else:

If Dow Jones chooses to go green near to the time the UK markets closed then FRES SP at best be near neutral (no loss, no gain).

As much as I like FRES and to not put all eggs in one basket, I do like Experian and Rightmove in a UK slump economy purely because of the relevancy and need in the services which these two companies offer in terms of desperation and risk management.
