I accept Art is the way he is, as others do, that doesn’t mean it’s good, but I knew when I invested several years ago.

Nothing has surprised me with COPL, in fact the only thing that shocks me is the outpouring of hatred and grievance from some towards Art as if it is a new thing.

That’s the reality check for you.

As for a revolt against Art, I have been involved in a similar situation and seen others, it never ends well for investors. Be careful what you wish for.

He is what he is, you would have known this when you invested, if you didn’t then more fool you.

He is not going to change, it adds risk to the investment, but the fundamental opportunity that exists here has not changed.

It’s the the strategy to increase production that excited me prior to events unfolding in Ukraine as the upside potential was good. Although I am sure I read increased outputs will commence Q4 this year and it will be 2023 that will see significant uplift.

If the price of gold increases as predicted, the future long term potential is very good.

And we do need stable and trustworthy management structure with good governance in place.
Crazy that an opportunity to buy at these levels has presented itself, and anyone investing now will gain excellent rewards.

Always difficult to predict open price.
With no further news I would predict it opens where it left off, and the SP is taken down. The very reason not to have stop losses set with this share.
It will then go on the uptrend like today.

But if further peace talk developments occur that are positive, it could well move up on pre market buying.

All part of the longer journey.

Looks like an uncrossed trade at 3p now showing.

I am hoping the management conflicts are almost behind us, if they are it will help with propelling future value back over 25p.

Potential for takeover cannot be taken off the table, but the higher the SP goes, the less the scope for a takeover (I hope.!)

I am not too sure how Boris can impact on Russias gold. It’s a high value scarce commodity in demand.

Would also be interested in any views people have, but I think it’s good old Boris bluff and buster.
