The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
There has been some discussion around yesterday's buy from Parker and that this buy means no news imminent. There have also been views that this does not apply because he is a NED. I think a closed period would apply to him as a NED but I think there are allowable carveouts, one I think is for 'stabilisation'. IMO the SP falls were significant enough to enable a stabilisation action and this therefore means that a closed period could still be in play and news could still flow on a number of fronts. GLA
My view on SAR is that the BOD have done well over the last year. Their main focus is science and this is first class, they have also done a decent job on promotion. Not perfect but I prefer them to concentrate on their key competency, the science, yes timelines have slipped and they are taking their time on making decisions. Not something I critise at all as you only have one chance at optimising a deal. I suspect they are working very hard on delivering in line with the strategy that as shareholders we have noted and accepted. Of course sp falls are frustrating but no science has failed and for one I continue to hold and trust the BOD to deliver the best outcome.I remain confident that this will be a great investment but some patience is required. GLA, I personally will continue to sit on my hands irrespective of short term fluctuations
Completely agree feel PH are in mix for deal expertise. The silence from SAR I believe will be driven by gagging claue's IMO they are tweeting where they can. This in itself for me is a sign post that we should be patient to get our reward in due course GLA
Working, not entirely the same as last year. Those options lapsed in Dec 2020 much closer than this year when they lapse in March 2022, why sell with all the positive news yesterday unless they suspect they will not be able to sell for some months. A closed period being expected is entirely logical IMO
Lazarus, I agree in my personal experience consolidations have generally been negative for me as a PI, my one positive experience was for me on OXB when consolidation combined with news worked very positively. So I lean towards disliking a consolidation but do accept that in the right conditions it can be helpful GLA

The earlier you cut the deal the lower the cost as you are owning more risk. I am happy with no deals as I will simply hold my shares and I will be happy to do so as I know the eventual license deal will bring SAR a stronger return.
I feel positive after the RNS, some delays with 1801 but a clear plan to go deeper in the development cycle and with s strong cash balance SAR can negotiate any deals from a position of strength. The lack of detail on 1802 I also see as potentially positive IMO this maybe because a deal is near completion and the timetable will be set and communicated by the partner. The covid update also feels similar, I think a deal again is close. I hope we may see further RNS action between now and next Tuesday and although out of SARs influence there is always a chance of 737 progress.
IMO no bad news today and I am still feeling bullish for SAR in both the short and medium term. GLA
Ndr50 I see the silence on anything not released into the public domain by other bodies eg patents. As very encouraging IMO this is because of NDA/gagging clauses both of which are good things. IMO nothing to worry about in the silence I fact everything to get excited about GLA
Interestingly my wife looks at this board, and for the last few months has done so without having to sign up. Tonight as in I think happened in November last year it is now making her sign up to view posts. Perhaps news is incoming shortly.......
Maybe a little drunk but let's go Persian
The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
You can't regret anything said or done including investing GLA perhaps time for bed lol
Low volume today and the sp very calm. You can almost taste the anticipation for news to come, so many fronts we could receive news on as many have already commented upon. I am very confident in SAR and believe all holders will reap a significant reward.

Early drop but on low volume, IMO nothing unexpected in the update. I fully expect a recovery from the early sales and to be blue later today/tomorrow. Patience is something most here have and will be rewarded as news flows overtime.
