Interest should build through the day and this week. It’s a ridiculous mismatch between mcap and value here. That gap surely has to close, especially with immediate funding being targeted for production.

Folk will look back in Q1 and be very happy they got in below 10p here. Let’s see how we do through today and the rest of the week as word gets out.

They obviously have a lot of interest to be targeting phase one funding so quickly. Another outstanding result.

Let's hope this one doesn't age as badly as your last attempt:

DFS will be comprehensive and I expect it to contain an overall headline NPV in much the same way as the PFS. That's in keeping with MR interviews and the "smashing it out of the park" type comments. They might separate out the SPG to demonstrate its unique value.

Yes - see page 9. For comparison, I believe GROC's is just under 50%...

I think the Presentation has some key giveaways about what's about to land here in the DFS. Pages 9-11 are the most signficant and reveal the following:

2026 - 20k tonnes in Phase 1, which includes 1k micronised and 3k SPG.

2027 - Phase 2 ramp up of 70k tonnes, which included 5k micronised.

2028 - SPG ramp up to 12k tonnes.

2030 - Ramp up to 125k tonnes with incremental SPG growth.

2032 - Ramp up to 175k tonnes with incremental SPG growth.

Now what is really significant is that 55% of the production will be micronised and SPG. Micronised will sell for 2-10x the normal price. SPG will sell for +$3k/tonne. LoM offtaker already in place. So by full ramp up, OC is going to be producing just under 100k/tonnes of the expensive stuff. That is pretty mind boggling.

Now compare this with GROC's SPG:

Pre Tax NPV - $837 million (v 10 year Free Trade Tax Exemption for BRES? and left with only 5% NSR for the Govt)

Post Tax NPV - $545 million (v ? for BRES)

Capex $321 million (v significantly lower for BRES)

LoM 22 years (v OC is massive with only 2% covered by existing JORC)

Annual Production: 39k tonnes of SPG (v 100k of SPG/micronised for BRES)

Very hard NOT to get excited about Monday based on the above. I did not appreciate the tax exemption - that is another massive game changer. All imo and dyor

Looks like the SPG facility has been moved forward into phase one. That will mean increased revenues from the outset. Also look at how many tonnes they are going to ramp up to by phases 3 and 4. It’s going to be a monster.

Fair point Candler, and that is probably the more likely context for it. Also, as you say, even an NPV of $500 million would in and of itself be a result - if we didn't have that already with the PFS, albeit not as de-risked/robust at it will be now through the DFS.

Anything north of $600 million will be great, and if we get upwards of $700 million, then absolutely fantastic. Way undervalued right now in either case. Let's see where it comes in at. Not long to wait now.

Plus in MR, we don't have a rampy CEO - quite the opposite in fact. But in last few quarters, and esp in the recent Q&As, never heard him sound so...err... rampy...sorry I mean so bullish!!!

Not only this Sloppy, but also failing to dismiss out of hand the $1 billion figure that was put to him on TWO separate occasions. That failure x 2 also doesn't sit well with delivering a $600 million NPV.

I also note once again today's quote that the JORC upgrade will be "transformational". The BOD have been talking this up for some time now using language such as "significant uplift", "subtantial uplift", "smash it out of the park", "material re-rate" and now "transformational", that they will look very foolish indeed if they now don't deliver that significant increase!

BRES's capex will also be nowhere near $340 million!

SI - you would hope that the increase in discount rate will be (more than?) counterbalanced by all the other factors that MR spoke about and which would otherwise increase the NPV. But even if they cancel each other out and don't shift the NPV, the SPG plant surely will take it above $600 million.

GROC's SPG alone delivered an NPV of $550 million with a capex of $340 million. I believe it will be a comparable annual tonnage to BRES's - although BRES have yet to confirm annual tonnage I believe.

I'm all for remaining grounded and cautious, but expecting it to be significantly north of $600 million. But not long to find out now.

Triple bottom formation folks. If it does breakout to the upside, then the move up could be very fast one, as much of the supply at these levels has been cleared already over recent months. Q1 will be a very exciting quarter for OMI with key announcements, so hopefully we see a strong run into it.

OMI only needs to move slightly into the 22s and it will signal a positive change and end of this recent sweep up of cheap shares.
