Yes sellers have been clear and this looks ready to go - imagine what will happen when the volume comes in on the DFS announcement. As others have said, not many other offerings in the market right now. BRES has the pitch to itself really.

Word will start to get out as well, and esp if/when we see this on the LSE leaderboard.

Bid above 7.5p - think that resistance is now broken. Next one is at 9.2/9.5. Technically, it shouldn't be as tough to breakthrough as this 7.5p one, and we will also have the DFS powering us through it.

Signs of life emerging in the markets once more, indicating that we might still be on for the traditional Xmas rally. For OMI, it just needs to climb another penny or so and the move up is back on. Strong demand at these levels has absorbed the selling.

No more placings needed and so it shouldn't look back once it goes!

The other bonus might be that although the market has been weak, it did bounce in the US yesterday and some have started to revive hope that we will get the usual Xmas rally. So the DFS could be well timed in that sense as well.

Honestly, those on twitter should tweet Elon Musk and tell him "to get his people to look at BRES". It might just work....

Good observations Candler - any sellers wanting to exit at this level have had ample opportunity to do so, and it has allowed new money to come in as well. So the move up should now have less resistance than before. We just need to get to 9.5p and then the blue sky opens up for us.

That's not a tall order at all the DFS should hopefully blow the roof for us.

Bid and Ask going up. I hope we are finally revving up for 'the big breakout'. Not much time left now for folk to position themselves for it, and can't think of any better opportunities in the junior sector right now for decent returns over the coming days and weeks - and beyond.

If they take Pepas to production, then there is no need for a JV. But what I like about OMI is that they won't JV anything until they have proven the concept. Once they do that, then the price goes up and if anyone wants the project, they will have to offer very favourable JV terms.

Plenty of cash in the bank so no need for a JV right now.

PFG - couldn't reply on the original thread for some reason. I was previously a holder and took profits which ended up in BRES. I think it's a cracking copper play and with a very good geo in charge - much like OMI. Has the makings of a Tier 1 deposit? But from recollection it has a LOT of warrants - and don't think they are in sticky hands either. Will a combination of warrants and need for capital raises prevent any proper re-rate as opposed to getting a bag or two out of it? I also wish SG would do interviews on other platforms and not just with Andrew Scott - as they can come across as scripted, and limit the audience that sees them. But overall, if copper gains sentiment, can't think of too many better copper projects on LSE.

Need to crack 7.5p which looks a matter of short time now. I think these will be the cheapest shares we will get now pre DFS/JORC.

I read on the Canadian bb that one of VC’s clients/contacts has recently approached BG to do a deal on EL P. So once results are in and OMI moves to 100% ownership who knows.

Hoping the market will start a bounce this week and then onto the traditional Xmas rally. If so, then a good week for BRES to RNS its big ticket items.

The JORC should land early this week, maybe even tomorrow. The DFS can't really land any later than Monday 1 December, if MR is going to pitch it at the conference the following day, which is the stated aim.

In terms of this current pullback, looking at the chart it is no different to the pullback we had between roughly 18 Sept to 2 Oct. That was followed by another big push up, so expecting the same this time around, esp with the news that is about to land. More specifically, I think a decent JORC, and the runup to the DFS, should take us back towards the recent highs. Then the DFS itself, if it comes in to expectations, and the market is showing strength once again, should (hopefully) result in that 'big breakout' to new all time highs that we have all been waiting for. BG has ALWAYS made clear that the timing of the MRE would depend on what the consultants require. The key thing is that this extra month of drilling is going to generate more compelling drilling results for December, and then give us an even bigger MRE in January than we would have had if it was next month. That's a win win situation!
