RE: Don't expect RNS until next week3 Oct 2023 21:03
It's actually a very difficult and uncertain situation right now. There are simply too many unknowns and possibilities to be sure of anything. I do think that people are paying only lip service to this being a binary and high risk play. Saying you recognise that is not the same as actually recognising it. Because if you did truly recognise it, you would pay heed to the undisputable fact that the chances of Tai being a duster is far greater than it being a discovery. The market, and the market makers will be alive to this risk, even if the believers on here are not.
We also have to note that He1 did report Helium gas shows last time round. Therefore, it's reasonable for the market to expect the same approach will be adopted this time round. They obviously couldn't put that in the RNS, because that would have been "hostage to fortune". Therefore, whether this is valid or not, in the eyes of many folk, every day that He1 don't report a gas show with a Rig that is capable of drilling 200+metres/day?, is a day closer to them announcing a negative outcome. Therefore, the fact that the share price has fallen might not be down to manipulation, but could be down to the realities and realism of the market's changing expectations.
I have maintained for a few weeks now that the wisest course of action was probably to sit on the side lines until results are known, and that this kind of nervous and panicky price action has only fortified that thinking. Not easy to do when you're being offered under 5p to buy, but who would want to get caught up in this game of unknowns and high risk?
I'm intrigued to see what happens tomorrow - in fact each day between now and the next RNS will be fascinating! GLA
