I'm down 69%. Not a massive position, but it's still far too much of a % to just take the hit on. I'm not optimistic about getting back to breakeven any time soon either via the share price. That will need a bull market in this sector, and at the moment, there's no sign of that happening soon. Best I can hope for is to trade it at these levels and get to breakeven that way. But even that is difficult in this current market, where companies like POW are seen as mutton dressed as lamb.

Could this simply be the market reacting to the failure to report any gas shows and drawing adverse inferences from that? At Tai 1, the first gas show was reported at 70m, and they must be well beyond that point as we are now in the second week of what was said to be a two week drill?

What you don't want is for price to just go quiet at this level, as that would suggest further downside until or unless some positive news is reported. Currently being quoted 4.99p, so there's not been a strong bounce from this level so far. All imo and dyor

Wyn - re your 12:07, I don't agree with much of the comparison at all. The risk has not changed, but the market's tolerance for it has absolutely has changed. The simplest way to think about is as follows:

1) Is the probability of success at Tai higher than the probability of failure? (Please refer to COS for helpful guidance, as well as general knowledge of these types of high risk exploration plays.)

2) What will be the share price if Tai is NOT a commercial discovery?

3) Is 6p still cheap based on a reasonable and sober assessment of the above?

4) Then factor in leakage and price manipulation. (Related to the 'trust' factor, which I think He1 have lost).

This BB is the minority that think the chances of success at Tai are higher than the chances of failure. Or are pretending this is true, in the hope that they can get a good trade out of it. Unfortunately, the wider market isn't buying into the discovery hype, and will likely wait for results. Arguably, the wisest choice of all, as I have been saying for a while now, given the share price in advance of those results. All imo and dyor

The trap door has opened and it does look inevitable that this gap is going to be filled at ~ 5p. I think what most people are simply not factoring in is that this is a high risk exploration drill, in what is generally a risk off market. The chances of making a commercial discovery are not high. The drilling will be completed shortly and the market is clearly waiting to see what the results are before committing itself. There is no rise on anticipation or expectation, because the expectation (of a commercial discovery) isn't really there with the wider market, which is why the share price is on its way down. Yes it could be manipulation or a leak, but I reckon its just the high risk nature of the drill myself. All imo and dyor

They need to exercise the Hurricane option and get drilling there or at Lolworth. Not sure any of the other projects are worth spending precious money on right now. Hard to see the share price not test 0.2p as the earliest drilling now will be Q1 2024. Imo

Swissy they all left so they could cash in their cheap shares and warrants imo. They also knew the chances of a commercial discovery are very slim. After this campaign, no discovery means He1 will be trading under 3p.

Guys - it’s also entirely possible that the share price is where it is because the chances of a commercial find are actually very low. 90% of explorers are built on hype and eventually end up on the scrap heap. It’s a high risk play in a risk off market.

No drilling plans means this is heading down imo despite the pump. I’m actually surprised it’s not bombed already. It’s a gold explorer that currently is rather inactive in the field. That needs to change quickly to avoid the inevitable imo.

My postings are in RESPONSE to what's already happening with the share price. It's clear as daylight that most holders were only holding because they thought they would get a rise to sell into by now. It hasn't happened, their resolve has weakened and there have been massive sells today. Regardless of who posts what, no gas shows means no rise in the share price, as more and more people sell out, which in turn means downward pressure on the share price.

You might be right Dan. I'd rather not take a chance though, as its at least uncertain, and the 10 October is not far off anyway. It's not just about the shares though, it's the complete lack of drilling coming up here as well, with what's happened with Hurricane. All this PR stuff will run its course and it will be back to BAU, where if the drill is not turning, then neither will the share price.

Dan1605 - placing shares can/often are forward sold through loaning of stock. That is not the same as saying that placing shares have been admitted for trading. They clearly have not as the shares in issue here has not changed.

Anyway, not long to go before we find out for sure.

That level of detail is likely to be lost on most. They will see it more simplistically as He1 are one week into a two week drill, nothing of significance has been reported to date, and the share price is falling. That's probably as detailed as the analysis gets for many. Of course, for the more technically minded/driven traders, they will see that we are right into a gap between 5p and 5.8p. (Ironically, a gap created by the Friday to Monday Rig RNS nonsense). So again, the issue of gas shows this week might well determine whether the gap is filled down, bounces back up, or the price sets a new floor within the gap (which is an unusual scenario).

Yes, there is a second drill, but this is the highest probability target of the two. So if this one 'fails', then not sure the second drill is going to help all that much. Again, the market will just wait for results, and in the meantime, it won't be kind. Especially as you will then get the issue of funding all over again post Itumbula. It's a risk off market and this is a high risk to reward exploration play. It's more likely that the share price is going to be RESULTS driven rather than RISK driven from hereon imo?

In all seriousness, who can realistically argue from this juncture that the safest and wisest course of action isn't to just wait for results now. Even with money you can afford to lose? That's probably what most are thinking right now. I know I certainly am. All imo and dyor.

So it's a combination of fundamental (no gas shows) and technical (gap down opening up) nervousness now. And He1 has a reputation for being a leaky ship, so you have that added uncertainty as well.
