No BOD in their right minds, if financing was going well and really close, would allow the share price to just languish like this would they? They would surely correct the market's wrongful impression and doubts about the financing. The tweets just seem really hollow when all the market wants right now is to know whether/what is happening with this long promised and awaited financing.

The market is brutal and will not budge on tweets about gold production. It's risk averse and will want to see financing newsflow. The more that any news on financing is delayed, the more the market will eventually punish the delay in terms of the share price. All imo and dyor

Which comes first, dilution or financing?

If dilution, then further losses await, whether you are getting in for the first time, or averaging down (again).

Just be careful folks - enough money has been lost already and there is potentially another bear flag pattern forming on the chart. The probabilities again favour its resolution to the downside, given the overall trend and today's news, which now brings operational uncertainty and material risk into what was already a high risk situation. Lots of questions arise from this such as will they get the parts? will two weeks be sufficient? will they fix the Rig? will it breakdown again? will they be able to complete the drill or abandon it like last time? will they still be on course to drill Itumbula - the back up plan? what will happen with Noble during this period? what fun will MM have during this period, etc, etc.

For those of you who think I am the big bad wolf, the posters appearing now and in the coming weeks will make me look like a kitten. This is definitely not for the faint hearted this or easy to keep to a strategy, because of the twists and turns at almost every stage. Too many questions = too much uncertainty = too much risk = pure and unnecessary gambling.

I said yesterday that I would not buy this even if it falls to 4p, and I haven't. Really important through all this fog, fear and fomo to just have a strategy and stick to it, and also consider what you will do if your strategy/thinking turns out to be completely wrong. Ignore the BB, but don't ignore the chart. It tells you how the market is reaction, and its that reaction that matters more than any other. All imo, dyor and GLA

No crystal ball, just a suspicious and analytical mind. Another potential bear flag opening up on the chart. He1 could do its own parade with all these red flags and bear flags it has opened up in recent weeks.

AG1989 and Jstar - I totally agree with your last posts. I also feel that people are being mugged off here. The problem is that the carrot that is being dangled is so bedazzling, that it is difficult (for some) to psychologically dislodge themselves from the idea that great riches STILL await them "if and when this all comes right". That is the art of seduction on AIM, with so many of these get rich quick projects. This one has just missed out the "quick".

AG1989 - the problem is that you don't have any. Naheed has never committed to any timelines or schedule.

So we go back to the original point of this thread, which is that based on whatever guesswork anyone wants to deploy about about timelines for milestones, what actually comes first here, dilution or external financing? If it's more dilution or not possible to say, then do you want to invest more money in this right now, only for it to be potentially 50% diluted again by circa February 2024? It really is this simple, unless you don't care about dilution or timing, which you obviously do based on your reaction this week's.

I honestly wouldn't put a penny more into this stock until it gets off the current ruinous path of death by dilution. Unless you're trading it. All imo and dyor

The other reason a tie up is possible is that they each are claiming to have enough bcf of helium in their licences to meet the entire global helium demand for the next x decades. Would they have more control over pricing by working together than competing?

That is true and a chart is not going to provide you with answers or indications all of the time, but often they do provide you with information. Infact I’ve found the chart more helpful than anything else here so far in recent months.

For example, I’m seeing a potential flag pattern right now with 4.8p as a key level in that pattern. If price remains above that, then I remain hopeful. If that level is breached then I expect another move down. Often the chart is random, but sometimes it isn’t and represents key levels and information.

Ignore the chart at your peril. It’s the only thing that cuts out the noise and bs. How you interpret it and trade it is an all together different question and problem, but ignoring it is just plain wrong.

You have been having subtle digs at me all the way through. All because you have been on the wrong side of the market by not listening. I get it that you’re down but emotion isn’t the way out of it.

Take a leaf out of KR’s book who probably has taken some of it on board and is probably better off as a result.

Grow up and grow a pair dai. You didn’t listen and now you’re not happy. That’s on you and you need to own it. If I warn you about a possible bear flag pattern then I warn you. How is that somehow wrong. Maybe try to listen next time rather than fill your mind with conspiracy theory doubts.

KR - they have gotten themselves into the mess by driving away contrarian viewpoints and turning it into an echo chamber. I know you realise this because you’re one of the few that has a brain and adapts to the realities.

They are very lucky it is capable of being repaired on site. Interesting that their CEO has also been out and about doing the school and community runs.

As for the chart, I'm seeing a flag pattern on the hourly. Because the trend is down, the odds favour it breaking to the downside - a bear flag. But these patterns fail as well, which would be bullish. 4.8p is the level to watch. If that goes, then its down towards 4p. If it continues to hold, however, then a move up is still on, and its just a question of whether it can happen pre results with some fomo being created and rumours of a positive leak?

Overall, its important to consider both possibilities because the results could go either way here. All imo

Whatever the figures, didn't that very same CPR put the COS at 16%? Whether that's inaccurate or an overly conservative figure, the chances of making any of these types of finds are significantly less than 50%. Therefore, shouldn't you also be preparing for the duster scenario if that is the more likely outcome, or at least factoring it in as a realistic outcome as well?

Louis10 - there WAS a pre spud run to 10p, but it was killed by the subsequent placing. Had it not been for that placing, the share price would have been in the mid teens? Why they did not allow that rise to continue, and raise at higher levels, remains a mystery. Although it's done, the after effects are still being felt now I reckon.

When you look at how long its been already, the previous updates and the current share price, it's really poor to only say this. The "Caracal team" should be trying to look after the share price and sentiment, and that means giving the market a bit more to go on than this, which is hopelessly vague. It seems further away on this update than the previous one, which said final stages of documentation or something.
