I've had the troll on filter and so don't have to worry about the same old negativity, always timed for when the share price is pulling back. At the end of the day, each of us can post the most bullish or negative posts. What none of us can do is influence what really matters when it comes to the share price, which is the results on the ground. Only they will dictate our fortunes here.

I'm confident (otherwise I wouldn't be here) - that Pepas will continue to deliver the goods, and we will find another highly mineralised zone at Pepas North and other surrounding areas. This will all happen in the near term i.e. next 6-12 weeks. Beyond that, in the medium term, I am also confident that we will find gold at El Cedro, where I would expect drilling to commence in H2 of 2025. When exactly, who knows, and much will depend on how things have gone at Pepas.

The share price will go up or down in this period based primarily on the drilling results, but with market conditions also being a secondary factor.

In that time, the troll and other naysayers can post as many negative posts or forecasts as it wishes to, and we can reply with retorts, but none of it will make a difference when the RNS's come through and have the final say.

At times like this, always worth zooming out and looking at the bigger picture. The fundamentals have been covered already, but if you look at the weekly and monthly charts for OMI, all looking very positive as well.

I didn't suggest anything sinister, but the point was that more about not being clear about the DFC funding situation.

Anyway, with the end of this 90 day freeze, hopefully the situation will become clear, because even if Bres don't say anything, the DFC likely will.

But needs some positive news and soonish, as sells now going through at 2.7p, and I suspect there's still a lot of placing churn to clear through, which is going to be difficult without some positive newsflow and in these market conditions.

It's very difficult (impossible even for most) to be objective and unbiased on a share you have lost money in, and where you might blame the management for that loss.

I don't think they can really spin the narrative for much longer though. The market will judge them on gold production and whether this move to Pit 1 has indeed resulted in an increase to production. We are only a few months away from finding out.

I also don't think it's that simple for any creditor to just take an asset, simply when they think the going is good and waiting it out?

BT - the drop is not just OMI related, but across the sector. All of the goldies on my watchlist are down, as well as other resource stocks. It wasn't the best time to release results due to wider market issues inc pullback in gold price.

But agree with you that a really good buying opportunity is opening up here once more.

Agree with Nap - it's a results business, and if or when we continue to get exciting holes reported, the share price will respond accordingly. That's just how it is on AIM and with junior explorers.

I'm glad that gold is pulling back. It needs to settle down after an almost parabolic rise. We want it to remain elevated and rise again, but ideally more steadily and hence assuredly. We also want the wider stock market to rebound as well. The rhetoric seems to be being dialled down by Trump over the tariffs and interest rate cuts are on the way as well.

I set out yesterday the newsflow we have coming up here over the next 6 weeks or so. It has the potential to give us share price moving results once more.

So all of the above should give us a nice bounce from this current retracement. All imo and dyor

Keyboard - think you have nailed it there in terms of current risk. This downward scenario is all going to depend on the DFC announcement.

I don't trust Bres completely when it comes to financing. For example, they told us that the Strategic Investor hadn't fallen through completely, and was still interested at 5p, but had "admin issues" to resolve. Clearly, that's not the case, because they've had over a year to resolve "admin issues" and since then there have been raises at 4p and now 3p. You don't do this dilution if you have a SI still willing to come in at 5p. But have we been told that the SI has pulled out? I still don't think we have officially, but happy to be corrected?

Now with this DFC situation, the last update was really woolly and seemed to be trying to put a positive spin rather than admit uncertainty. But I guess its a difficult tightrope for Bres to walk, as you don't want to spook the market by saying the DFC payments are now uncertain. Rock and a hard place and all that. All imo and dyor

Bres is clearly in a difficult predicament right now. An unloved company, in an unloved sector, going through an unloved phase of the Lassonde Curve, and Trump uncertainty having impacted its funding at the worst possible time in terms of co inciding with its greatest period of cash need. I agree it likely had no choice but to do the raise, as it was in the middle of a drilling campaign. And when raising in this kind of situation and market, it is going to come at a price.

In terms of what happens next with the share price, I think it will depend on what happens at the end of this 90 day freeze on the DFC, which I understand is coming to an end as of nowish? If the freeze is lifted and the DFC payments are forthcoming, then Bres can get back on track. But without them, it will depend on whether they can complete the DFS without needing to raise again, or will have to delay the remainder of the DFS?

So I think some positive news is needed re the DFC to get through this placing churn. Either from Bres confirming the payments are not frozen, or the DFC confirming the same at the end of the 90 days.

HarChris - not looking for a bottom, but want to see an end to downward dilution.

StM - think there will be plenty of opportunity for those who wait it out and see which way this DFC situation goes. You also have warrants which will drag on the share price. All imo and dyor

There is a risk that we are getting a bit spoilt here? We should know that not every hole can or will produce world class results. That includes upcoming drilling at Pepas North/East/South/West, at El Cedro and beyond.

Moreover, we should leave it to OMI to decide how best to release results/newsflow, and if they want to mix the better results with the lesser results, wherever and whenever applicable, that is perfectly sensible and fine to me. However, I do agree that perhaps these results might have come earlier and during the run up in gold. (BTW did OMI's tweet today about timing of the RNS acknoweldge this, or was it to do with something else?)

Regarding the upcoming drilling, the RNS states that it will commence in the next "few weeks", which I have taken to mean sometime in May. Between now and then, we will likely get:

1) Results of the airborne magnetic survey.

2) Further drilling results from Pepas 1.

3) Further channel sampling results from around Pepas 1.

4) We might also get the first hole at Pepas North which "It is likely however that the first hole at North Pepas will be targeted to test depth extensions of the channel samples set out above."

5) Sampling results from El Cedro where "results are expected to start becoming available within weeks"

So there is PLENTY from the above to give us something positive to look forward to when the next RNS lands.

Overall, if there was ever a dip to buy, this looks as good as any given this upcoming newsflow and its potential to have some uplifting results within it. So it's a case of seeing where this dip ends and then hammering into it. All imo and GLA

Not done too bad here considering the drops across the rest of the juniors. Think Silver and Copper will continue to rise over the coming weeks and months, and so GSCU is well poised to benefit from this.

Had this same RNS been released yesterday, for example, the share price action will likely have been different?

With the continuing impact it has had on USD and Treasuries, you would think the tariff turmoil will be resolved within this current 90 day pause on tariffs, and the Fed will lower rates during this period as well, which is apparently the method in Trump's madness. If so, hopefully H2 of 2025 will return us to some stability and coincide with more world class intercepts at Pepas.

Very pleased for long suffering holders that it now looks like GCAT will relist shortly. Let's see if they come back with a credible plan for financial sustainability and growth. Personally glad that RM is no longer at the helm, as I think whatever his actual or perceived good points, he lost credibility with too many in the process. The new regime might bring back investors who simply wouldn't touch it if the old regime had been in place.

Alsol, it's a red day across the board today, and so not specific to OMI. Lots of gold stocks down. Taking a breather no doubt.

Nah, not until the issues that have prevented me from entering up until now are resolved. On the fundamentals, I would like to see the DFC situation clarified, as I'm sure many others would too. This 90 day order comes to an end shortly, so not long to wait to see what happens next? I do believe that without the remaining $1.5 million tranche payments, Bres will NOT be able to fund the completion of the DFS. Therefore, if those payments are not forthcoming or are delayed yet futher, this will likely mean that Bres will either have to 1) slow down (i.e.delay) the DFS yet further and/or 2) find the money from elsewhere. Neither of which is a good outcome.

On the technicals, I'm conscious that the Placing shares land tomorrow, so I will wait to see if they are absorbed at 3p, as not all will have been forward sold, and buying has not been strong in Bres even at these lows, which I think is a reflection of the risks outlined above.

With the warrants that have been added on both of the recent placings, it's going to take something major to cause a re-rate in the stock, so there will be plenty of opportunity for latecomers to join any party here. All imo and dyor

Pullback across the gold stocks and not GRL specific. Top up opportunity if you believe in the turnaround.

Now is the time to buy if you believe in the projects. In a matter of weeks, drilling will commence around the existing area of mineralisation, starting in the North. The team is also continuing sampling work at El Cedro with a view to identifying drilling targets. So it very much looks like some drilling there in H2 of 2025.

So basically, the drilling that OMI is about to commence is about finding new areas of mineralisation and continuing its growth. MM just taking advantage of weaker holders, as they are bound to do at various intervals when they spot the opportunity to do so.

Not getting any of mine and will likely take advantage of this dip.

I'd say it's one of the more important Q&A and Bres is at a critical juncture. Need to give some straight up answers on DFC Grant funding situation as the last Q&A on this was rather woolly. Also an update on current timescale for DFS completion, and whether it is consequent on the DFC payments. By now, the DFC and hence Bres, should have more understanding on what the situation is with their grant funding post the 90 day Exec Order coming to an end. Therefore, would expect a clearer and more definitive update on this than last time round? All imo and dyor

Yes all coming along very nicely indeed. Two key points for me are that drilling is to commence at North Pepas following land access being secured and they have also found a new zone to the east with some high grade sampling at both of these. Survey results to land shortly as well.

Great to see the company actively drilling across two key projects - should make for steady newsflow over the coming weeks and months.
