You would think as we get nearer and nearer to very significant news investors/ traders would hold onto their shares or even increase their holdings.
I have thought that before though and dropping from a £1 to 60 odd pence was a right kick in the town halls.Having said that I had a £5k top up then and a £10k top the other day so hopefully it will work out well in the end for us all
So how do we see this unfolding.
How can a car manufacturer draw up budgets for batteries with battery materials going through the roof. Also look at copper, its forecast to keep increasing and an ev uses 4 x that of an ice.
Keith has said the rising lithium price is adding difficulty to off take talks.
From memory was Great Wall the first car co. to get into lithium mining?
It’s getting very cozy between VW and CEZ.
Will there be an offer on the table by DFS,and maybe a counter offer?
Sid. I would have thought interest might have held to some degree when we got to a £1.Everybody seems to know lithium is going to be in short supply it’s in the papers on the news almost every day.You get no interest on your savings there are fortunes about in furlough.
Investors, chancers whatever they should be all over this like a tramp on chips.
Yes lithium’s position in the period table says it all really, and of course it’s not only the cost curve coming down but the energy density of the batteries going up. Interesting point about the lack of PR .
Vynikajici as the Czech people would say
It may come to $9.8 B. just for the lithium but you have to remember that the market may have largely moved on to another technology several years down the road so lithium could be worth a lot less.
However it looks like we will be lithium dependent for some time yet
I just think the share price decline is typical of AIM with more traders than investors. The price only moves on news and don’t forget it’s ‘sell in May and go away’time. Nice summary ant. I personally think it will take a bit longer to get to 50k ton production than some people think. Also I’m sure we won’t have all our eggs in one basket with VW
Thanks slowburner. As a financially astute yorkshire man I don’t buy the Sunday Times and I have long since run out of the free access.
However as luck would have it my mum has a copy so looking forward to that.
I saw on Sky this morning & on line is still doing well although security is still an issue for some.
Well not if they use Bango !
Tin is too small a word for tin ant. and besides I have noticed how the odd bit of Latin by Boris makes my wife laugh. As such I have started to throw the odd carp diem in now and again and it’s working wonders.
In vino veritas
