An encouraging operational update confirming that the company are on the right track. However, its the debt position that I really want to know.
Depending on your broker this could be the last day to sell and for the deal to settle before the delisting date. But with a bid price of 0.1 what is the point?
Good luck to anyone left in this rancid share. Munters is right, those left (including myself) did not listen, or got caught in the hype generated by chrisatron (who also punted the defunct NCT) and Baron (who also punted the equally defunct HAWK). A sobering lesson. Hopefully time will allow for other investments to make up for losses here.
the Mcap is currently £0.14m
I suspect some peoples investments into this sham probably neared or exceeded this...
ISDX, and yes I think they will disappear from that too. There will be no trading of the shares and the value of the shares will not be listed.
The shares I have are in a SIPP. I suppose I need to contact my provider to see if their policies will allow to hold my worthless delisted shares.
If they do not then what is the alternative? Sell them for .2p a pop?
Is it possible that the vote got carried due a lack of votes cast in the second run?
I am amazed that RIta is allowed to trouser £200K from this.
The new tag line of be afraid is at least more realistic to the previous cut and paste tagline of building a significant oil and gas company and building shareholder value.. At least she has noticed that she has not and will not build any shareholder value.
Arranging refinancing for the outstanding £500K is surely and easier task than refinancing $2M. That is unless the finances are completely shot which is probably the case. Are the BOD able to put forward a compelling case to encourage a bank to lend a tiny sum? This is not pleasant to watch.
Just in case of a dead cat bounce.
If the company delists, what is to stop Rita (who has a share holding worth as little as the rest of us) selling the family silver for cheap. Any LTH returns will be far down the list of creditors that need to be paid off. If the company delists I expect holders will never see a return. As to alternative, we have no idea as the company have not provided any information.
It must be George Soros starting to build his stake under the radar...
Yes, I did fail with this one. You are right, this was a win:win position for Rita.
Clearly the doommongers have got this completely correct. Rita has failed with this one. In her favor she has previously had a decent track record of progressing companies. Also, I still think the company vision of proving up the land to sell piggybacking the drilling of bigger oil companies drilling adjacent sections was solid. A safer investment than the boom and bust speculative drill oil companies such as UKOG and others. Sadly, and this is the boards fault, the vision was not clearly communicated to investors. Where was evidence of a long term plan to prove the land up to sell? What was the long term plan? Mistakes were made (Roger Swartz for example, the purchase of worthless land in Montana as another). They burnt the cash without getting in the returns. Robsky, has done endless research into this company and had been a valuable voice on this board. Its very sad that it has not worked but to mock his mistake at this point is not clever. The lessons that should learnt here is to spread the risk, and do not fall in love with a share.
Robsky, as a fellow long term sufferer I feel for you and guidedog more than any. Your unfaltering faith in Rite has sadly not been rewarded nor even recognised in the slightest. Shameful behaviour from the BOD.
I suppose the MM's want as few of these shares on their books too.. I wouldn't want to be holding these... Sadly I do.
