What do I know!!!

Still the breakout of the silver and gold prices can only be good for this after the inevitable lag.

Good bullish movement on silver in the hours after London closed for the day. I would hope this would translate to an open price over 800.

A couple of folks from the FED are speaking at around 1-2 pm today. I fully expect them to continue the word on the street this week, w.r.t FED rate cuts coming in the next few months.

What with these speakers and the data coming in the next few days such as the Non farms on Friday we should have a good idea of where things are going for the next few months, and therfore what we can expect from this share in the coming months...

I was expecting a bigger drop than this... That was quite a hammering dished out to the silver price yesterday.

3% up. No RNS, no move in silver, no big news out there....

Nice all the same. Shame it can come down just as quickly and without reason.

Another drop in Consumer spending though. 4th consecutive month of drops...

3.2%!!! way above the consensus of 2.0%. As you suggest bonkers that is hard to take.

The consensus opinions whilst not viewing the actual data aren't pulled out of thin air, so 1.2% difference in the Q1 GDP figure is a big difference.

Lets see what the 1:30 figures bring. Could be a shot in the arm for silver..

Currently happy with my 728 average down buy yesterday.

That will be due to the large increase in debt.

Trend is still very nicely upwards though... We are only the odd % below 1000. A good day will see us push through there once again.

Good to see from buys going through at 11p. Another barrier that will hopefully be broken continuing the 6 month trend from the 7.5p days.

Things are looking good at the moment and as there is no more SA government interference the steady upwards trend should continue.

I would say so. Take a look at the trade price for the last 6 months and see the upwards trend that is in play. Then look at the silver price, then look at the comments from the FED yesterday showing the first signs that they may think the economy might be slowing a bit and hence that interest rates might not rise as fast as people were previously thinking.

All together good for silver, and good for this share. Buy on a dip.

Bugger. I certainly did. There seems to be a trend of an early morning spike followed by consolidation.

I'm going to jinx it further by saying that I can't see if staying down below 1000 for long.

Bingo, absolutely right. With such a big jump in the Silver price last night this had to blow through 1000. Should stay there too given that silver is holding above $16

at that time Mr Powell of the FED was announcing that the US is probably going to pursue a moire cautious strategy with rate rises over the next year. Positive news for Gold hedges and hence the gold price.
