ps range so far is 1.1500 to 1.1515 = 15 pips = tradeable for template trading.

for the uninitiated template trading strategy

break down your daily target into different goals, the salami method.(one slices salami to eat it instead of taking mouthful bites)

place your bet and when target slice reached close the bet.

e.g.

weekly target total £500
made up of say
mortgage £100 /5 = £20 a day at £10 a pip = 2 pips
council tax £25/5 = £5 a day at £10 a pip = half a pip
gas/electricity £25 = £5 a day at £10 a pip = half a pip
wife/partner/mistress £75= £15 a day at £10 a pip = one and a half pips
water rates /insurance £25=£5 a day at £10 a pip = half a pip
care costs £250= £50 a day at £10 a pip =5 pips

10 pips daily in total x £10 = £100 daily x 5 = £500 weekly x 50 = £25,000 annually

the average wage in the uk is I believe £25k annually

anything below that has to be considered as poverty wages

as you can see my salami does not include housekeeping/food and drink/holidays/ entertainment/telephone/mobile/ clothing/kids expenses and that includes one's grown up adult children etc etc etc

quite often in a choppy range trading market those individual slices can be achieved very quickly , sometimes within the same candle , even a minute one.

£10 a pip is favoured as it is easy to see when goal has been achieved.then its fastest finger first to lock it in.

least margin deposit required at least £4k
recommended margin £8k in case a straddle is needed if price suddenly takes off in opposite direction instead of stop loss
ideal margin required £12k to give one some flexibibility to up the bets if one finds one in a break out trend eg new trend strategy ema 8:13:21 or my conservative 54

just checked price has broken 1.1500 to the downside target 1.1464

don't forget eur/usd is in a bear trend channel since 30 june 2008 (see monthly chart) so buy the dips sell retracements using 12 major candle stick reversal patterns followed by close above/below the T LINE, overbought/oversold stochastics 12:3:3, ABC triangle, fibonacci support/resisistance to assist in in identifying them.

remember PATIENCE and DISCIPLINE is key.

STRADDLE TIME @13.25 for at least 30 pips one way and 30 pips back hopefully and in 30 minutes hopefully for total 60 pips.

if riding the way back for the 60 pips will need 3 margin deposit otherwise just 2 for the straddle.

if trading this morning its range and template trading so far.

margin deposit for £100 a pip =£38k straddle £76k ride back @ least £114k

those days are gone to trade once a month for approximately £3k and £36k annually

and for quick template trading to make £500 daily, £2,500 weekly, £100,000 annually sometimes in as little as 10 minutes daily.

educators were saying great opportunity to get 2,000 pip move based on range trading to sell their education programme for £3k to £4k. without naming the currency pair just to get you sucked in

yes there was from 12,000 to 14,000. on the eur/usd

went the other way 2,000 drop from 12,000 to 10,000

since 30 june 2008 the euro/usd has been in a bear channel decline.

presently in decline mode again after a bull retracement to 12425 from 10,300 a 2000 pip move to the upside.
