Good evening AdJshares. Premier Oil has been a nightmare share for me in the past. Lost quite a bit on it thinking it was going to recover. That is until I started using candlesticks reversal formations and the T line. You really must watch/listen to Stephen Bigalow's webinars.No need to sit and read. Link can be found in first few posts on this thread or just google him and one will find a plethora of his free webinars. One just needs to learn and memorise the 12 reversal candles, 6 long and 6 short. You will see that it is a combination of candlestick reversal patterns followed by a close above the T line that triggers a high probability long trade and a close below the 3ema to take profits. PMO has really only been suitable for shorting since September using the monthly and 5 Nov using the daily. The current single doji on its own is not sufficient. One needs a close above the T line to trigger a buy and from past performance one should keep a tight stop loss because some have failed. Hope this helps. Back test it on PMO using the monthly and weekly. You will see how accurate the candlestick and T line is. BTW the doji's @ 61.8% were not followed by a close above the line, nor the ones at 23.6%. All time charts 4hrs down to 5mins all show price closing below the T line. On an intraday basis there is scope for short term trades both long and short using the T line for scalping. CNEL Chart up date. Bullish engulfing candle at the end of a bear downtrend. Price has closed above the 3ema for aggressive traders and on intraday one is probably already in. Price however has closed below the T line ema8 so for conservative traders one needs a close above the T line to enter a trade using the daily chart. Word of caution to aggressive style traders. Price is at or around support/resistance so price could rebound and retrace. If price opens up on Monday and breaks through the resistance at 2 the T line might get triggered. Post made last wednesday on FTE. just went up 130% on leader board today. gl to all who had a punt. I missed it as busy on other mundane things such as my accountancy practice. FTE fte chart and T line Wed 06:59 FTE Using candlesticks charting and the 3 and 8 ema (the T line) it was all over by noon on the 10 Dec. A couple of bounces since then but as of now price has closed below the T line which makes it a wait and see. It may change one's style of trading and give one that extra edge in making entries and exits. Fundamentals look good but are they already in the price? I haven't a clue. I rely on price movement. see advfn chart below. Candlestick reversal pattern plus close above the T line indicate a high probability trade basic rule. If price advances too far ahead of the T line lock in some if not all one's profit.

STAR. Just looked again. The reason it went off the radar is the spread 25%. price seems to have bottomed at present price since OCT. Has been up to 4 recently, but spread is off putting. I always assess potential loss first, then profit. Maybe better opportunities out there.

KNIGELK. Just read your post again. We are not trying to PROJECT future price just to identify HIGH PROBABILITY TRADES in both directions. Sadly for AIM shares one just cannot short them despite all the Walter Mitty posters who claim that they have. I have yet to receive the name of the broker or spread better who allows them to do it when I have challenged them. Classic example is the bain of your life Mr Banana. Have you noticed a marked improvement in the content of his posts lately? At least the charts will tell us when not to be buyers for topping up. Remember NO AVERAGING DOWN. CRYSTALISE A SMALL LOSS, WAIT AND WHEN T line triggered BUY WITH NET PROCEEDS. tHAT WAY never invest more than originally intended. Good luck investing always.

Good morning KNIGELK. Been busy with work, tax case and self assessment. Under orders from her in doors to clear most before Christmas and I want that anyway so I can get back to spending more time on trading. re fitbug no change as yet. Do watch the T line video asap. Only 1hour of your time. It will change your whole approach to investing both short and long term just as it has done for weimaraner73 and me. Do get educated as to money management, risk reward,stop profits and losses, trading plan, etc etc as the T line is only a part of the whole, and this applies to everyone. Good afternoon weimaraner73. Thank you for your post. Would it be an impertinence if you could share your list of shares identified for possible breakouts with the board? This was the main reason for starting it in the first place as I am sure we are all busy with our normal daily lives to monitor all shares. They don't necessarily have to be AIM shares although they promise the biggest rises in a short period of time. I made some good money on Tescos and Sainsbury's earlier this year.IT can also include forex and the FTSE. GL with investing always.

CNEL'S closing chart for last Friday. I have used the 60 min chart. As one can see there is a chance of a reversal but price has closed below both the 2 ema's and you know what that means. One could drill down through the lower time frames especially the 5 and 10 minutes to see if one can enter a little bit earlier for the less risk adverse style investors. Word of warning. Watch the mm's. A week ago they gaped price up to 5p which sparked off strong selling and profit taking. Monday mornings are always the worst time to buy after weekend newspaper tips and positive news. MM'S mark up shares widen the spread.
