Just placed my first place only bet on LEXINGTON LAW. Place only ODDS WERE 5/1 SP WAS 25/1 CAME 2ND NET SP RETURN WOULD HAVE BEEN £6.25 on a £1 ew COMPARED TO £12 on a £2 place only bet. would have felt gutted if it had won but how many do win at those odds? Would cut down on the cost of multiple bets or keeping same level of stakes as ew nearly double the return and give one 3 or even 4 or 5 chances of winning on each race.
